Just tell them you're with Ohio Riders. FYI, the campground is a couple miles from the rest of the resort. Just wanted to let you know ahead of time. The lady said it's like a mile or two down the road.
Thanks for the info. Hopefully others will be camping too. BFE is no fun when no one else is around.

I'm calling tomorrow to set a campsite reservation. Is there a specific area I need to ask for or do I just tell them I'm with OR?
-
errr not rep to you...apparently I need to spread the mayonnaise.

Rides and Events. They are labeled and color coded for your convenience
ah touche' Rep to you

Regional threads are still here
Really? Where are they now?
-
I wonder is there another way to display or get more attention to the "social groups"? It seemed easier to get rides together when the regional threads were around. I'm not sure newer people even know the social groups are there. Just a thought.

Dayton gatherings.
ain't that the truth

This seems a bit dumb to me. I get the idea of SOPA, but most of these companies are overseas and the internet is sorta out there in existence, hence World Wide Web... so we mandate/punish companies within our boarders. That isn't going to stop the companies from making pirated copies. If people want bootlegs of things they will find them with or without the help of google. I guess someone in China could just create a new search engine and avoid the whole issue as our government wouldn't have any ability to filter it. Maybe the next step the government should make is just limiting all of us to websites based within our boarders...ugh

The white with the silverish frame of your bike I question.

Dumb. I had someone at work actually get mad at me for saying, "Speak of the Devil". Flipped out saying that isn't appropriate to say to a Christian...speechless.
-
You can certainly meet up with me and ride down. Not a problem. If I camp, you're more than welcome to join as well. I was actually thinking about maybe taking a long way down and camping somewhere halfway.
Cool. Thanks. Just let me know. School is out, so I shouldn't have any problems with scheduling.
-
Not sure yet. Kinda thinking about it.
If your riding down and camping, any chance I can meet up and go down with you? If so count me in 100%

Anyone notice that it isn't the same bike in all the pics? Weird

when you wanna go bro?
Whenever Brooke figures out how to take care of a 17 month old and a 2 week old on her own lol. I guess we could take Hudson. Maybe in the next few weeks.

Is anyone planning on camping? I'm not opposed to getting a room, but I like camping.
-
I am happy enough with my dirt helmet.
Right, I know they are a big name in dirt. I'll have to just go to IP and check one out.
-
For street riding? I was browsing helmets on IP and saw this http://www.ironpony.com/ironponydirect/product.asp/ImageName/ONEAL-10-HLMT-TIRADE-WHITE.jpg/Brand/ONEAL/Class2/Helmets/Class3/Full%20Face%20Helmets/Class1/STREET%20PRODUCTS and since I'm a tech happy person I thought I'd ask.
I know I shouldn't let a toy aspect sway me, especially concerning my head, but I figured I'd ask. Anyone have this helmet, or know someone that does?
Cheers,

I am interested in this. I would probably ride down, and would probably need to split a room. Anyone from the Dayton area making this?

I have used bike forums that use an IM so you can talk to a poster privately in real time and it is nice. I'd use the IM, but don't give two shits about an email.
I'm a member on the FZ6 forum and it has an IM feature to talk to posters privately. It's a really nice option.

Good Lord that is hilarious. Again, I love OR. LOL

I love this site lol

Agree but disagree on this one. Sucks to dump a bunch of money into training someone. This says about 60K (rounded up). However, I think it's a dumb policy. IQ has little to do with interest in career decisions and likeliness to stay in a job IMO.
There are tons of highly intelligent people that stay in dead end jobs, and or have a passion for what they do.
Dayton folks: Where would be a good place for an OR meet and greet?

I love Tanks as well. Great beer selection and really good food. I think some of you missed the "local" flavor part Ben was asking for. Only downside of Tanks is the craptastic parking situation they have.
Jack-Ass Flats is actually a pretty decent bar off season, as it would be for this outing. Really big place, plenty of parking...beer (Fosters, it for some reason believes itself to be an Australian bar?) out of a Mason jar LOL. Their food isn't that bad either.
Hinder's in Troy is a good bar with really good wings. You also have Dunaway's which has good food and decent beer.
