My first question would be, is it electric or kick start?
-
Right on, that could be the source of the noise. The organics were louder than the ceramics on my bike but it wasn't something I couldn't tune out.
-
Nice, I was gonna bob it out but it'll be a sharp bike fully restored too.
-
Do you have the organic EBC pads or the ceramic? The organics were a bit louder on my bike but after a few days of riding I didn't really notice it and don't hear a peep out of the ceramics.
-
For what it's worth, I don't go out for the twisties on my bonnie but it is my daily commuter vehicle. I just put a set of ceramic EBC double H pads on and I'm very satisfied with them. I had the regular organic pads before these and there's a noticable difference.

I believe that's an old leather tool kit but I could be wrong

I've done security and military service the most out of that list but I want to get into automotive or motorcycle tech. I wanna be a grease monkey until I grow up and finish an archaeology degree.
-
No worries. I'm looking for something with a kick start. Thanks for the offer though.

Changed the oil and spark plugs and lubed the chain. Still waiting for the specter pipes and the air box eliminator to get here.

If I saw that I may drool uncontrolably

For directions I just need the address. As for time, I get off work at 7 am so it'll be sometime in the afternoon. How does 4ish sound? That should give me enough time to get some sleep and then get a truck to put the bike in unless it'll stand up to being riden from your place to columbus. If that's the case then i can just catch a ride with someone.

Sounds good to me. Give me a time and a place to meet you on Saturday.
-
Not planning on raking it out so I'm not too worried about it, thanks though.
-
Saturday works for me. If you're cool with $400 we can call it good, if you're firm on $500 I'll have to wait till work releases the next hostage they call my paycheck a week from wednesday.
-
I feel you on garage space. Mine has recently become the respository for miscellaneous crap. Gonna have to get it cleaned out a bit now. Not too worried about the mechanical issues, something needing some work is exactly what I was looking for and the cosmetics are a non-issue given that I'm going to bob it out. All in all it sounds perfect for a nice winter project, when do you want trade the bike for sweet cashy money?
-
I like it, I think we can make a deal.
-
Indeed, it's happened before but my bank is pretty quick at sorting it all out and getting my money back. I'd feel comfortable offering $400 right now or I could do $500 in a couple weeks.
-
I know the feeling. Usually if something doesn't work, my first response is to kick it. What reasonable price range are you thinking for it?
-
Give me an idea of a reasonable offer cause I'm working with about $500 on the top end. Found out this morning that some worthless skalawag in Austrailia hit my bank account up for about a grand. The bank is taking care of it but I'm short on funds til they get it sorted out. I'd deffinatly be interested though.

Good point, but you know...back in the day there was fun to be had...I'm sure of it...None of that fun involved school per se, but fun was had...I think...

"Graduating high school" and a "Good Enough Diploma" are not the same thing. Besides, if you got out in the 10th grade you missed those last two years of fun and excitment.
