  1. red: awesome, thanks
  2. Sinner: An old school bobber is where my ideas are taking me too. I figured I can kill two birds with one stone. Sharpen the mechanical skills and wind up with a nice classic bobber. bluebird: That bike is way too pretty from what I'm going to do to it Thanks though, it is a sharp looking bike.
  3. What year is it and do you have any pics of it?
  4. Looking for something mid-70's or earlier. For an odd reason that I can't explain I'm facinated with kick-start bikes and I know I'm not going to get over it until I get one and work it out of my system. Thanks though.
  5. Ah okay, now that we're both clear as mud, you're right. Craigslist or something else would be a better idea, thanks for the input though.
  6. I apreciate the info on the ready-to-go bikes but that's the opposite direction from what I'm looking for. My fault for not being more clear in my original post.
  7. Actually I don't care if it runs or not, non-running would be better in fact. I'm trying to improve / sharpen my mechanical skills and it may sound strange but the best way I know how to learn anything is to dive in head first and figure it out as I go along. Since I don't want to experiment with the bike I ride everyday, I figured an old non-running bike that I can work on is just the ticket. So actually you might have something along the lines of what I'm looking for.
  8. IP, you took the red pill didn't you?
  9. Large Man with Dead Body: Who's that then? The Dead Collector: I dunno, must be a king. Large Man with Dead Body: Why? The Dead Collector: He hasn't got shit all over him.
  10. I'd deffinatly be interested in taking a look at it, I'm open to all ideas and suggestions right now.
  11. I'm not looking to build a bike from scratch, that'll come later. Looking for something closer to a restoration project. Something to fix up and possibly bob out, depending on the bike. You'll have to forgive me but when you say "We have a ton of stuff" who is "We"?
  12. Just trying to keep all the bases covered.
  13. Anyone know of any vintage bikes for sale? I'm looking for a project so a bike that needs work and attention is a plus. Make and model is not a huge issue so long as it's more cruiser than sportbike. Looking for mid 70's and earlier. Thanks for any suggestions.
  14. Very nice. My dad had a 1972 CB100 if I remember correctly. He used to put me on the gas tank and cruise around when I was about 5 or 6 years old. Good times.
  15. If a person does the crime on US soil then the same Constitutional rights we have as citizens apply to non-citizens whether they're illegals or vacationers from the Netherlands with a tourist visa. That being said, i agree that just being here illegally shouldn't result in being beaten to retardation. Being here illegally should result in being deported but that seems to be one of the little hic-ups in our country's imigration policy. An adult beating or abusing a child, sexually or otherwise, is what should result in a swift ass kicking, by convicts in prison or some up-standing civic minded citizen. I will say though that it sounds like the prison officials were partly to blame by turning a blind eye. On the flip side, no matter how locked down a prison is, convicts will find a way to put a hurting to someone if they really want to.

    Best wings

I like this idea, however I think I'm still going to plan a day ride around some of the wings places.

    Best wings

Their cockfight sauce is awesome, I put it on my burgers and wings .

    Best wings

I know all about Thurman's awesome burgers, didn't know they had wings though

    Best wings

So the consensus so far is BW3 is good, Hooters is bad, and some odds and ends places. I kind of agree with Hooters but it's been so long since I've had their wings that I couldn't make a fair judgement now. I've never actually had wings from BWW. For wings I tend to stay away from chain restraunts although I might try them now. QSL has pretty good wings and I'll have to try the wings from Benny's Pizza. If people bring up many more one-off wings places I'm gonna have to set aside a day to ride from place to place. Sort of a day long wing crawl.
