Kinda sounds funny... but I've got a Hitachi Ultra Scan HD 42" projection TV and the picture has some funny yellow/green and blue lines on the top and center of the TV... it isn't the cable because I put a DVD in and the colors didn't go away.
I can't find my manual for the TV, but I'm sure it is somewhere around the house, so I might be able to find it.
If anyone knows how to adjust or FIX these damn tv's let me know, I'll pay for your dinner, front ya some cash or what ever.. just please fix it so my wife will get off my ass about it!!!
=====================
I did TV's years ago. But there was no money in it so I sold off all my tools and got out of the biz. My knowledge at this point is so out of date that I can only offer general comments.
Sounds like the Convergence is off a bit. Its a tricky service adjustment to make and you need special tools. Signal generators and the like to generate a special test pattern on the screen just so the adjustment can be done.
The good news is that there is most likely a user version of this adjustment available from your remote control. Which buttons to push I have no idea, depends on the TV.
You can probably get a copy of the user manual on line. Which would be able to tell you which buttons to push to get it as good as it can be before calling in somebody.
If you have kids they might have found the user adjustment and helpfully adjusted it for you. Putting it back should solve the problem.
Good luck!

good to hear that the kawi ran good for ya man
Ran fantastically!
I don't think old Kawi's die, they just go faster!
Mine was running perfectly for the ride, no troubles at all.
Did I mention that the other day I found out, surprise! It does wheelies?!!

Were you in my group? group 8 with the two Vstars, the red SV, blue R-6, Black white and orange ZX-6R (mine), and the black and green cruiser (sorry can't remember what it was now)?
Black and green cruiser was a Harley. The one with the Gator aide bottle and a petcock connection for the extra gas.
I guess I was in your group! Odd, I didn't think to ask anybody their screen name.
I had the old bike, red Kawasaki, spent most of my time in the back learning about riding in a group formation.
I never thought to ask what group # we were.
Anyway, I had a blast! Learned a lot about riding in a group. Learned a lot about Columbus roads too!
To bad I didn't make the party. Sounds like it was a good time too!
Ah well, there is always next year!
-
I had a great time today! Thanks to all the guys on my team.
I'm missing the Party right now but it's late so I think I'll let it go.
When do the scores get posted?
And the pics! (They ought to be a scream)

Anybody going to have stickers at the bike shop?
-
I was 12 when i got my 550LTD, i rode the thing every day i could in the summer
At twelve you were definitely immortal.
-
i rode up there, i think i was one of 7 bikes that showed up and i think the only OR who rode on 2
shiny yellow pants rule
I stopped by too. Had a samich and decided to head home before I got any colder/wetter than I was. (cage spray)
There were a few Harleys when I got there and one lone yellow sport bike when I left, besides my old Kaw that is.
Maybe in a week or two the weather will be nicer...

Looks like to much chance of rain.
No bikes for us tonight.
Doppler radar says we are good, roads outside are dry, think I might give it a shot.
At least swing on by for a look.
-
Sunshine in Dublin! Looks cloudy but not raining to the west.
Now if the roads would dry up just a bit...
The radar on this site is about an hour delayed. GMT -5hr
If it stays clear for the next hour or so....
-
Looks like the rain will let up about 8pm, a little late, or not?
A program that you can tune for your location to see the rain before it sees you;
http://www.singerscreations.com/
Say this thing even has a link to the local traffic cams!
-
Rain sucks, but maybe by 7pm?!?
-
I still want to take that thing for a ride, just for old times sake..
Ah the bikes of yesteryear...
I don't think they really were more fun, we just remember them that way.
Of course I'm now mortal instead of immortal like I was back then... sigh
-
Haha. Sounds good man. What's the top speed on that...about 80?
80-90 I think is about it with the sprockets that are on it.
A former owner changed both the front and the back.
From what to what the receipt doesn't say.
Anyway that's plenty fast enough to get me in trouble!
-
Welcome to the site.
-
Overall, I have to say Magnificently!
It's just amazing what a couple of dollars in parts can do!
-
Changed the spark plug wires which fixed a lot of weird troubles including the drop out at 4500 rpm.
The interesting thing was how much it cost, $12.00
I got coil wires from NAPA at $3 a piece which with a little work fit just fine.
The only other thing I found was a $50 set on ebay. Of course for the $50 they came in pretty colors.

Welcome!

Oh' date=' hell yes.. another fucking crazy one.[/quote']
Hey! I resemble that remark!
Err, yea, what you said.
-
nice old kawi, Looks identical to my old one (aside fom color and highway bars)
People stop me all the time and ask "What year is that" then they guess "Isn't that a (insert year here)"?
Nobody has got it right yet.
-
Your not alone, people try to race me all the time. I usually just let them go. As stated elsewhere on this thread, "Accidents waiting to happen".
I haven't noticed if it's just white guys or not. Come to think of it, the last one I remember was a white girl in a minivan/SUV thing.
She probably just wanted to show off that bumper sticker about her kid being something or other.

I ran a can of seafoam through it with a tank of 93 octane and it seems much better now. Still a touch of lag but much better than it was.
I think I'll put off cleaning the carbs for a bit.

Bike night at the Black hat.
Again I got there late, about 9pm. Worked late that day.
Mostly Harleys, a couple of Hondas and of course the KZ.
Cruisers and a Goldwing, no sports bikes.
A few people had riden down from Delaware, others from Columbus.
Sadly nobody had heard of Ohioriders.
Not very memorable but its still early in the season.
-
A silent bike, hmm.... What could possibly go wrong?
-
Sorry to hear about your troubles. Hope things get better for you soon.

It was a good ride. Should have brought more water, hot out there.
The "Fun Factor" was off the charts!!
It was really good seeing people and their bikes from the site. Wish I had asked a few screen names and was a little better with remembering them.
-chuckle- don't let the old bike fool you, it's quick off the line but tops out early. Sprockets were changed by a former owner.
On 670 and such I was starting to run out of room on the tach.
65 mph = 6000 rpm.
75 mph = 7000 rpm.
85 mph = 8000 rpm.
It redlines at 9000 so I didn't have much room left.
So keeping up at 75-80 it was almost wide open.
Er, not that we were speeding or anything else illegal including left hand turns....
