I have a route planned tomorrow on this road and if I remember correctly, there was some negative chatter about this road last year. Just wondering how it is this year so far before I lead a group down there.

I have had the 98 Triumph Daytona 595 which had the 955 in it, an 02 Sprint ST 955i and my current 06 Sprint ST 1050. All of these bikes have been absolutely fabulous. The 02 ST was my first Sport Touring bike and it did everything great. I did 3 track days on it plus several 400 mile days on it. You will not regret purchasing this bike. The growl of the triple is a unique sound that becomes addicting. If it is still available, I say go for it if you have not decided on something else already.

Had a good ride today despite the weather. The temps could have been about 10 degrees warmer which would have helped the roads to dry before we got on them. Had 7 bikes today and no mishaps which is always a good thing. Next months ride will hopefully be warmer.

The route is pretty simple so not sure you are going to need it.

We do a group ride every month. I will post up the route about two weeks before the ride. We usually do the rides on the 3rd Saturday of the month. This month will be the only one that will be on the 2nd Saturday. Hope to see you next time.

There's a shocker!

We will be having our first group ride of the season Saturday May 11th. Route is still to be determined but expect 150-200 miles more than likely SE Ohio. We will meet at Calvary Chapel of Columbus at 8:30 and depart by 9:00. Address is 6075 E. Livingston Ave, Columbus. Once I have determined the route I will post it up.

I have a frame from an 02 WR426F that you can have if you want it. It is straight, no cracks. I bought it thinking I was going to powder coat it and swap out the frame on mine. Also have a set of wheels from an 02 YZ426F that I would part with very cheap.

I knew that hill was going to be a challenge. I pre-rode the course on Wednesday and suggested that we have someone letting everyone know how to avoid it if they could not make it up. I hope you enjoyed the ride, we put a ton of work into the route.

I am in, will not make it for breakfast though. This should be no problem to make it back by 5:30. The ride is only 100 miles and we we depart by noon we will be done with the ride by 2:30 - 3:00.

NinjaDoc, I also have a gopro that will be capturing footage. I can direct it rearward since I will be leading a group.

Can't go wrong with a Triumph Sprint ST. They are no longer produced but I am sure you can find some good deals on one. I have put over 30k on mine and it does everything great. Is a much better two up ride than the vfr.
