  1. I am not sure where all of you think the bike needs to be inspected. I have plate 2 different dirt bikes and not once did they want to look at them. I went to the BMV and told them I needed the affidavit stating that I have installed lights, horn, mirror, brake light switch and license plate holder. I signed the affidavit and they handed me a street title. I had not even done any of that to the bike at that time. Both are done now though.
  2. My mistake, too mnay names to remember. Tell jay if he needs a helmet I will be happy to bring him an extra one. He needs to see what happens to riders that crash without a helmet.
  3. Scottie, With the route that we will be riding this month make sure kris comes with more than just a pair of sunglasses and t-shirt. I do not want to be scraping anyone off the pavement.
  4. That looks like a nice route, hope you have a good time and be careful.
  5. That will probably make it worse.
  6. Post up on the CSBA forum, I know of at least one person that has room but he does snore.
  7. As long as weather will permit we will be riding in October.
  8. Casper, Is there a way to edit the region that was assigned to the existing ride since the CSBA ride Sept 25th is listed as Northeast. That should be central. Other than that I like that you can see without opening the threads up where they are.
  9. There is no motocross track around here that you would want to ride a DR650 on. That bike is not equipped to ride on a track. I would suggest that you take that bike SE toward Logan. You can ride the Fire roads at Wayne National or if you want to ride it on some good trails head over to Perry forrest close to New Lexington. There is an Adventure ride going on in Logan put on by the Buckeye Dual Sporters. Do a google search and you should find it.
  10. The new ride thread is here http://www.ohio-riders.com/showthread.php?p=552659#post552659
  11. This is going to be a great ride. We are heading back down to the river by way of 78, 260, 255 and Bealsville Diner (bring an appetite and cash). The route is 355 miles, I am sure there will be some that will jump on I-70 and head home which will be at 230 miles. This route is very similar to the July route with minor differences. We will need to leave at 9:00 am Prompt so please be topped off with gas ready to roll. http://ridewithgps.com/trips/97640
  12. I have the route planned and will get it posted today or tomorrow. It is very similar to the July route with slight differences.
  13. I am thinking that it will be back down toward the river to hit some of those awesome roads. Welcome Judd. I am glad you decided to join us officially.
  14. Yes, the ride will be the following weekend on the 25th. The route has not yet been planned but the date is firm.
  15. Check with Todd, he may have room for you. Not sure if he is by himself or not.
  16. Todd booked his room last night and they told him that if anyone else is planning on coming they better get their room booked because there is only 8 rooms left. This is their busiest season so if you are thinking about going, go ahead and reserve a room. You can always cancel if you decide not to go.
  17. The date is not set for the September ride yet mainly because I will be in Orlando that weekend so I am thinking we will do the ride the following weekend on the 25th. This would be the weekend before the Gap trip so not sure that will work for some. Could probably do the ride on the 11th but that is only 2 weeks away. There is not much planning needed though since we will probably take a similar route as July's route. 2talltim, I would be happy to through your bike in the back of my truck but you would not be able to ride down with me since my wife will be in the truck with me. I am sure Todd will be able to help as well and he has more room in his truck.
  18. If I had an extra 1500 laying around I would buy it but I don't really need another toy to maintain.

  20. You are going to get into so much trouble with that bike. How much are you selling the other one for?
  21. Sorry to hear that TaRR. Maybe next time.
  22. Welcome to OR. We are taking a trip to the gap the weekend of Oct 1 - 3. If you are interested in going please check out the Calendar of events page.
  23. Nope, not intentional. We actually did go through one of the curves but we went the opposite direction so it was not as blind.
  24. I was noticing that front tire before we left the church this morning. I am sure it looks much worse now.
