  1. The earlier the better. Is 9ish ok?

  2. Grandview south of campus. Easy ride down 5th. You can hold off on the things I said you might need. Better to look at what we're working with- as you might have a good air filter that just needs cleaned. Not the oil and filter though.
  3. The manual is always good as a reference. I'd suggest a trip to the Iron Pony. Get the filter, and the viscosity oil that the manual suggests. Semi-synthetic should be fine. Chain lube is good to have on hand. Air filter might be an idea, but not necessary, as with spark plugs. I live by Byrne's Pub in Grandview, and usually just put the bike up in my back yard.
  4. A spool is a small little bolt on that goes near where the rear wheel hub nut is. The bike can be lifted by levering up the rear using the spools. http://www.kneedraggers.com/details/Vortex_Swingarm_Spools--505765.html That way the chain can be tensioned and lubricated. You'd need oil and filter too. I've got tools at my place, and no problem putting an hour or so to help out.

That's the pisser. I don't keep track of how I'm riding- aggressive or not. I get a similar range, from 110-160 before the reserve light comes on, and about 25 miles when it does. Only my ornery bitch has decided to not trip the reserve light on occasion. Walked her at least 2 miles so far this season, and more than that last year.
  6. Spools or the swingarm? Got a lift, but needs spools. I can help a bit Tuesday morning if need be. No beer necessary, as I'm going on a bicycle ride late morning to early afternoon.
  7. I ride my bicycle to and from work daily when the weather allows. 18 miles each way. I race crits on tuesday evenings at OSU when the feeling strikes, and TOSRV and Peletonia type stuff. Three sets of tyres a season type of riding. Lol!

  8. Taxes are done, and bills paid. Anything interesting hanging on the wall- 56cm?

That's the best angle for some of my favourite things!
  16. It would be a lot cooler if the bike just turned into a rainbow coloured unicorn, instead of having the engine seize. Brum-Brum!
