  1. That gravity and hill thing confuses the hell out of me too! It's like magic sometimes, the way it snatches things away and sends them on their merry way....
  2. Not on Supercorsa's in the wet! 99mph down the back straight was plenty. Chicks dig guys who can keep it up too, and play again another day.
  3. Guinness Showdown at high noon!
  4. Looks like we have a lot to thank Cleveland for! Thanks for Sweetest Day, The Browns, and the Steamer!
  5. Spinning up a rear clicking into fourth on the back straight is all good in my book. Besides, from what I hear, chicks dig guys who can ride in the wet.
  6. Rusty- I'm interested if they're still about. Cheers!
  7. Would you prefer the comparison dollars used on war versus how many Jr. Bacon Cheeseburgers the nation can not enjoy if the government was footing the bill. I can make that calculation for you.
  8. Makes you appreciate those MotoGP riders who went out on slicks at Donnington. Wet track, slicks, and 220+ horsepower. Wow.
  9. Wanted to make it, and even rode the Aprilia today after swapping it from Track Day duty yesterday. Only two people were out with the Flu, so I'm a goin' nowhere.
  10. Man, talk about butt-puckering! New soft tyres on with 0 miles. The Aprilia was spinning everywhere. The worst was turn 1 and 3, because I'm usually confident there. Turn 8 had the nice pond, and 11 had wet leaves. My top speed down the back straight was 99mph, and that felt stupid fast, but last time there I was trying to creep over 145 on the same area.
  11. Just wanted to thank you again for the ride to the track. Survived- that's the best way to put it. Bike's already for the road tomorrow. Cheers!

  12. Thanks Brian. I photograph weddings, and I'd be on a major shit list if I pulled that one off. I think I could take the bride. Haven't met her dad yet though. So that's two track days I was signed to go on, freed the time, and took it in the kipper. You have a great time. Do a marshmallow toast for Ol' RFM after a safe and enjoyable time Saturday Night!
  13. I was eyeing the 1125R at Farrow's, and even spoke to Chris about picking it up. Sad, especially seeing how emotionally involved Erik was about his product. I owned a Buell before, and it was a raucaus bike that I still smile when looking back on it.
  14. I'm not the one with the trailer, so the call ultimately wasn't mine. It's not a bad call though, as a cold wet track and soft tread free tyres scream boo-boo.
  15. Rub it in. Cancelled, and a Race prepped Aprilia with super soft tyres is mocking me as we speak. Using this vacation day as a nap day now. Bugger.
  16. Still have the bike ready, and the sun will be out, the rain will go away, and Obama will solve all the Nation's ill's...

Very sweet, but I still love me a lambic!
  18. Heading out at 7:30am. Of course I've got the closest thing to slicks that DOT allows. Yeay!

Finished putting on the Blue Flames, and Brian777 and I took a ride yesterday. Couldn't hear the Duc... Hehe!

  20. Words that shouldn't go together: Lucky,Blown, and Tranny. Just a FYI.
  21. Looking forward to getting home and seeing it, as a firewall won't let me at the moment. Have I showed you my new cameras yet?
  22. The burn victim didn't steal the bike. He reported the kid who did, who got in trouble with the law. Hence the taunts of snitch.
