  1. Party in the chateau de canvas! Lets see how many people we can get to fit at one time. The more the....gehyer?
  2. Thanks again everyone. Been in Oklahoma all week for work but heading home tomorrow, I'll hopefully get some pics of the bike up in the evening sometime.
  3. Ya that's cool Kevin. I owe you for those wheel chocks so I'll try to have the cash for those. Then if you want a ticket you can pay me back some, lol.
  4. Hi all, I am raffling off my 2011 Triumph Daytona 675 with only 2,500 miles! This is a beautiful bike in a "Phantom Black" (black with blue/purple pearl) and gold accents. The Cause - My brother was injured in a mountain biking accident in Utah on September 3rd. After being air flighted to the University of Utah Hospital, he underwent emergency surgery to repair his broken spine, specifically his L1 vertebrae. He came out of surgery with some shiny new hardware, 2 titanium plates and 10 screws, fusing together his T11, T12, L1, L2, & L3 vertebrae. Currently he is faced with the possibility of never walking again due to severe spinal cord injury. But refusing to subscribe to this prognosis, he has been busting his butt (which he regained small amounts of feeling in recently) in rehabilitation while still hospitalized in Utah. He is making great progress, but it will be 3-4 more weeks till he is cleared to return to his home in Tampa, FL. He will likely be out of work for 6-12 months or more while he continues rehab in Florida in hopes of being able to walk again. I decided to raffle off my bike to help cover the great medical expenses as well as day-to-day living while he is out of work. The Raffle - I am selling only 200 tickets for a donation of $80 each. You will have a 1 in 200 chance of winning this awesome bike! It has a clean title in my name, with no leins, ready to be transferred to the winner. A Drawing Date has been set! Friday, December 7th is the day, and I will be drawing it at the Paninis in Euclid, OH around 7 PM. Anyone in the area is welcome to stop out, have a beer and watch. No promises yet, but I'm working on having a young, female...."assistant" we will call her, to draw the winning ticket. To Purchase a Ticket - Please send me a PM and I will send you my address where you can send a check/money order. I can't accept paypal as payment anymore, I was told that it is a violation of their acceptable use terms. Thank you all for your support! I finally got a day to get it out with a little bit of sun and take some decent pics. Just put on a fresh coat of wax: Trying to show the pearl in the paint, but it just isn't sunny enough out.
  5. I would normally have room but I think I'm bringing an extra bike of mine if I get a couple things in order. Plus his bike would be held hostage till Sunday night cause I'm staying to race.
  6. Real news says there was a guy who was at the protest and happened to die that day, but it had nothing to do with flag smoke. Sorry to burst the bubble.
  7. Now's our chance, we gotta get Todd on this and maybe we can snag an open weekend for a Moto Series race weekend at Mid-O?
  8. Haha yes I read down that far. For sure that is Brian's internet alias.
  9. I can't believe I just clicked on that link at work...
  10. We need to have slumber parties over the winter. We can have games and activities like spin the bottle.
  11. Yes but you stole it fair and square, and then proceeded to overuse the shit out of it. So I insist on giving you the credit.
  12. And then he goes and posts something like this...and totally redeems himself!
  13. Oh snap! Hollywood just stole R1faggots catch phrase. Boom!
  14. The only "young kid" I can think of that was running I and also races is the little Dietz kid on the 125 GP bike. If that's who's giving you trouble out there, you might wanna rethink this whole trackday stuff.
  15. If you're making it track-only you need to figure out how to seal off the underside for a belly pan/catch pan. I take it you paint? Did you powdercoat the wheels white or paint them?
  16. Dang, glad you mentioned that he wouldn't be there. I just assumed he would as always. I put on a new front last round on Saturday, and a new rear that only has the mini 20 on it. If I go easy on Saturday I might be able to make the weekend on the tires I have on there now. If not looks like I'm trying out those Pirellis sooner than I thought I might.

    Welcome! Diggin the bike!
  18. Great info, saving that link!
  19. New track bike? It's gotta be the loss of those extra 37cc that made you slower on the '08 than the old 636.
  20. It's really hard to say without knowing what corner it is, what's coming up next, etc. This isn't NASCAR and you don't have to go way wide before every corner. Sometimes you might follow that general rule of going wide, hitting the apex, and then riding out wide again but not always. Very rarely when taking a corner do I go all the way to the wide edge of the track before turning in
  21. You only need the battery to get it started, and the fact it starts when you jump it tells me the battery cables have good connections. Your battery probably is dead now, but only cause the bike quit making voltage. It then ran off battery power until the battery died. I think you are on the right track with alt/stator or R/R.
