It's time to start thinking about the next round. I plan on being there Sat for the trackday and racing on Sun. Who else is gonna make it?

Damn, that is a lot of bikes down. But...no one forced them to go out. Also, I've never heard of a trackday being cancelled and a rain day given. Unfortunately we can't predict or control the weather. And I'm pretty sure whoever is running the trackday has to pay the track rain or shine. After a couple years of doing trackdays I just decided if its raining I'm either gonna put rain tires on or not ride in the rain. I think tires are cheaper than fixing a wadded-up bike.

Marty I think its time to get a bigger bike with a bigger front tire that doesn't fit in gopher holes. And also I don't know why you bother using that kickstand anymore, lol. Every time I see that bike its leaning over a little more. At the angle its at now, you might as well just lay it on its side.

I don't think he's on here, but he was definitely running good. I give credit to him helping me drop 2 seconds off my previous times. We were chasing each other around during practice all day Saturday. (mostly me chasing him) And dude I didn't really see what happened, but you must've had the most monster start ever in the second superbike race or something because all I knew was I went through turn 1 and looked up and you were ahead of most of the 1000 guys. And they don't usually f-up, lol.

Dont know but his bike was just cutting out above 12k rpms and lacking power. I think its a kawi thing I dunno?

I was wondering what was going on there, I think there was another guy that didnt go either. They had been doing 2 wave starts the last few rounds so I know why there was confusion. Luckily everyone got through clear.

Just got home awhile ago and relaxing now. I had an awesome time this weekend as always. It was good to see the rest of the gang getting faster and dropping times. Rob and Kevin both shocked me with some great times especially for running on a packed track. Time to sign up for a race and watch as you magically knock another second or two off those times! The weather held off for the races today too, and I was pumped and ready to go. Someone must have lit a fire under my ass or something this weekend and I decided to ride. I ran a personal best of 1:13.63, and felt great in all 3 races. I got the holeshot in the first sprint and led the first 4 laps until the red flag came out for a crash. The restart didnt go as well, but it was a pretty tight battle for the top positions and I wound up 5th, right on the ass of 4 and 3. Another 5th in the second sprint. The mini 20 was awesome battling with mikey for 2 and 3, but he pulled away as I got tired and I finished 3rd. I missed mixing it up with Hollywood who struggled with a bogging, underpowered motor all day. He needs to sell that Kawi and get a real bike and he wouldve been out there battling for the lead as well! Jinu did good and getting quicker on the new bike every time. And the Murse needs to find a new parts supplier, but thanks for pit-bitching! And if I left anyone out or forgot to mention ya....that was on purpose!

I hope you all brought your hot dog and marshmallow sticks. The truck is loaded up for another raging bonfire.

And RHill we usually pit along hot pit. There's a big blue railing along it. We park in the grass side and put our bikes on the other side of the railing along hot pit. Those who get there first, space out a little and try to save a few spots for the rest of us.

Good point, which is why I thought the whole concept was dumb in the first place. It would kinda be like Kobe and 3 other NBA players travelling the country challenging guys at local courts to a game of pick-up ball. Of course the local guys are gonna get smashed.

I'm sure all my fellow racers and riders would rather I kept my drugged up ass off the track.

And I just LOL'd because I showed my gf these pics and she goes "He's up way too high." Even she knows his body position sucks.

And on another note, Im coming either way but unsure if I'll be riding or not. I had an emergency visit to the dentist on Monday that resulted in my wisdom teeth being yanked from my skull. I no longer look like a chipmunk hoarding nuts in my mouth, but still pretty sore. (Go ahead and make your jokes, I set you all up for that one.) Hoping I'll be feeling better by Saturday, but as of right now I dont know if I could squeeze a helmet on my head.

Screw ganking parts for Brian, if Im gonna get involved in that stuff Im stealing the whole bike. For me.

The theif dropped their cell phone in the trailer and the police haven't arrested this guy already? I know 99% of the time stolen cars/bikes/etc are never recovered, and there's no point in a huge investigation. But with evidence like that pointing you to someone I would think they might make an effort on this one.

Don't scare him away...sometimes you gotta break the new guys in gradually. You can't always go straight to surprise buttseks.
