  13. by the time you figure in gas stops, lunch, and b.s. stops, you'll be lucky to avg. 45 mph. so, 450mi. would be more like 10hrs.. dont forget to take a good rain suit and flat tire repair kit. g-luck and ride safe.

  16. aint that the truth. i got 70k out of my stock seat before it started to wear out. then, bought a new sargent seat. works ok for me.
  17. other than regular maintenance and replacement of normal wear items such as spark plugs, tires, brake pads, chain & sprockets, battery, the bike runs perfect and has never let me down.. at 100k miles I'm knocking out a yearly average of 46 mpg. and the inside of the air box is clean & dry. in addition, I'm still running original stock bearings, suspension, brake rotors, fuel pump & filter, clutch & basket, charging system, and a 07 pure stock ECU. i give this bike a grade of A+ .. undoubtedly the best bike ive ever owned. IMHO, i contribute my good luck to, 1. the OverDrive Trannie, for 30% less wear & tear on engine. 2. the use of mc specific motor oil. 3. use of regular automotive grade fuel with the highest AKI rating. 4. street use only. no dirt or trails
  18. thanks for the info.. i been past that place many times. always thought it looked like a cool place. but didnt know or forgot the name of the place. even stopped there a few times for gas, food and drink but never stayed there.

  22. i'll be riding down from columbus for this event. i wouldnt mind having a riding buddy and or room mate. probably staying in roddinsville or deal's gap motel.
  23. i dont know about that. but i did notice that the trail version has a thicker- deeper tread than the regular version. hence, more mileage and a lower speed rating for trail version.
