  1. We all ride cruisers, and socal if you go to our website femmefataleswmc.com it explains what our club name means. We are a law abiding club and do TONS of community service. Femme Fatales are women villains from older movies...they lure men in with their beauty and charm to get what they want basically. We are by no means a scary club...we are all women with families and great jobs that love to ride and do community service.

For the others with jokes about riding women and top or bottom...well top of course...that is where you gain the most control... :)

Silverfox check out our page and message me if you have any questions. All of of women in the Femme Fatales WMC are former Chrome Divas who decided to branch out to a club that makes it mandatory to ride to be in an MC. Hope to hear from you all!!!

you guys sound like a wonderful group of girls.
  3. thats a pretty awesome gig! applause!

This is the precisely the reason I'm getting my phd in mech eng. Its fun, I really enjoy the research that I'm doing... but the awesome part is that I get sent to conferences all over and I get to tack on vacations every time. The best part is that school is free. If you get above a 3.0 in undergrad engineering, you can easily get a research position that pays you to go to do research and takes care of your tuition. So while I'm not bringing in mad moniez right now, I get to take a couple pretty sweet vacations every year, and I pretty much make my own hours.

I have to say, I do think its cool for people to go to school and study something that they are passionate about, but the people that go $50K into debt studying a field that they probably won't be able to get a job that will adequately pay them to pay off their debt , I just don't get. If you want to learn something that badly, learn it. Read books. You don't have to pay a university for that.

  6. feel free to continue being right about everything :D i didnt hate on the cruiser i got rid of ... it just put me to sleep by the end of the block.

Congrats. Motorcying on a sport bike is way better than it is on a cruiser. Not hating. Just being right about everything' date=' as usual.[/quote']
  7. You know you're going to have to find time for at least a few rides this season! Have you taken it out at all yet?

yes, and i froze my bum off! need to smarten up and invest in some of the ideas above for staying warm. im pretty fearful to falling to fatigue on long rides.

im still that person who would have to trail my bike to long distances. that is the goal this year is to be more comfortable on longer distances

  8. ooooooooooh yeah!!!! there she is :) like i said, im so elated to have found a bike that suits me in every way. thank you for posting :bow:hue jass!! i work so much i really dont have to time to peak on the board 'cept nightime and occasional mornings.

Nice job!!! Does it look like this?

  9. well said!

this is what i was told also "it doesnt matter if you have a degree in farm animals, employers just want to know you can commit to something and finish it"....figured under that mentality, a broad degree like business cant be the worst way to go...leaves me some options open....i graduate in august and still have no idea what i want to do lol....just going to find whatever i can find and see how it is....anything is better than working UPS and pouring concrete
  10. my degree has nothing to do with what i do today -- but it served a purpose at a young age in my life. it expanded my view or scope on how one views the world... maybe opened up doors or allowed me to actually consider different forks in the road. my degree has kept my resume from being tossed in the trash -- but has never advanced me internally, not a chance. only demonstrating my talents has or will do that.

  11. i posted a response back in july 09 to this thread.... i would like to say i can't believe im staring at it yet again... i mean who can forget. ive been off the board for a while so this is quite hilarious to see on the "new posts" list STILL

  12. As long as she didn't get hurt in the tip over, count your blessings. If it were me, I'd leave the scratches and tiny dent as a reminder to never ride over your head, and always make it back home to what is really important. Besides, I'm sure she feels just awful about the whole incident.

yeah she does. its one of many things the kids have done over the years to our vehicles of bikes as youngins'...

my oldest took a sharpie to the entire interior of my brand new tundra some years ago. that was painfull. more than this!

good way to look at the situation! for sure i would be devastated had she got hurt :nono:
