  1. =) That's interesting...any reason why you say no?
  2. Right, and it's all about fun....that's why I came back!!
  3. I'm definately not an expert, but it's nice to see someone else who values a dual sport!
  4. Herpes?? Come on, maybe a little less vulgar...perhaps I come and go like rain...or come and go like the seasons? Something a little less....viral?
  5. I had that spill in the rain and then another spill going around a corner...I sorta suck...lol. My bike was a champ though...not a scratch or a dent on her. My knee has a big scar from the fall, but it's cool, I'm going to get a sprocket tattooed around it as a reminder
  6. Maybe it is better I start a new welcome thread. My name is Sara, I'm 23, novice rider and currently without a bike. Want to more, just ask! I know it's winter and not a lot of people are riding...I'm obviously not since my beloved purple beast is gone ...but I'm certainly in the market, hopefully by spring. I like the dual sport for now, it's better for me being a beginner still. I tend to wreck a lot and I need a bike that wont break when I do...haha. Thanks for welcoming me back, sorry I was gone so long. Are there a lot of events through the winter? Oh, and by the way, my son is almost 4 and plays with Motorcycles everyday!! He loves them!! That's my boy!!!! I'm trying to post some pics I have of him on a few 50's at Honda NW...SOO cute!!
  7. What did I get hurt feelings about? LOL Wrecking my bike? (sh*t happens), selling it? (that totally sucked!!) or something else all together? I AM in the market for another bike. I tend to be sort of wreckless as a beginner, so I'm thinking I'll stick with the dual sport for a while, doesn't break as easily..lol. I rode Michael's a lot, the WR250RR and it was WAY better than my bike...only problem is, they cost money which I don't have which is why I had to sell mine in the first place. I'm such a girl....I cried when the man who bought it rode away....then I laughed, cause I was watching a grown man ride a purple bike....haha...then I cried again, cause he was riding and I wasn't....lol
  8. A- I tried to go to the profile, and it didn't go back far enough B- I don't know what the thread was about C- Oh, well, it was all that important anyway. Thanks for your help though!
  9. I went through the archives...I'm looking for something very specific that I believe was written in early August or September and the archives only went back to like 9-22-09. Is there anyway to search more specifically? *p.s. for anyone who remembers me, I am sorry for my absence, I guess I've missed a lot!! I had to sell my bike and was pretty beat up about it....
  10. Take a picture...way less creepy. I don't want my parents/grandparents/spouses head on my mantle to stare at me after their passing. I actually like the diamond thing...for spouses especially, and it is not nearly as creepy as a replica head....
  11. Love the graphics on the front side panel. Nice.
  12. Great Thread. Interesting Discussion.
  13. Ya Know, Ferrah Fawcet died today too, how come no one makes a stink about her? LOL No Offense, cause MJ was a great musical artist and a name to put down in history....but I for one am glad that at least now our kids are safe (Okay, that was sort of mean, and I apologize if I offended anyone in saything that....it's not right to talk poorly about the deceased, so I apologize)
  14. Thank you for asking...much better I've been out riding a few times....I still get some swelling if I walk on it for extended periods of time but nothing I can't handle. How are things with you?

  15. If you really like her do something out of the ordinary to take her by surprise...a picnic by a lake, or a local festival/fish fry type of thing, the outdoors this time of year can be very romantic. If you want to impress her there is a place in Bexley called The Top...a very fancy steak place with a piano bar and live entertainment.
  16. Hey, good to hear from you!! I'm so glad you had a great weekend!! How did you go 500 miles and NOT go out of state??

  17. In Honor of My Fiance and all of the other Father's on this webiste I thought it would only be appropriate to wish you ALL a Happy Father's Day and remind you how important a Father is in child's life. F.A.T.H.E.R.S. "F" aithful. "A" lways there. "T" rustworthy. "H" onoring. "E" ver-loving. "R" ighteous. "S" upportive. What Makes a Dad God took the strength of a mountain, The majesty of a tree, The warmth of a summer sun, The calm of a quiet sea, The generous soul of nature, The comforting arm of night, The wisdom of the ages, The power of the eagle's flight, The joy of a morning in spring, The faith of a mustard seed, The patience of eternity, The depth of a family need, Then God combined these qualities, When there was nothing more to add, He knew His masterpiece was complete, And so, He called it ... Dad Fathers are Wonderful People Fathers are wonderful people Too little understood, And we do not sing their praises As often as we should... For, somehow, Father seems to be The man who pays the bills, While Mother binds up little hurts And nurses all our ills... And Father struggles daily To live up to "HIS IMAGE" As protector and provider And "hero or the scrimmage"... And perhaps that is the reason We sometimes get the notion, That Fathers are not subject To the thing we call emotion, But if you look inside Dad's heart, Where no one else can see You'll find he's sentimental And as "soft" as he can be... But he's so busy every day In the grueling race of life, He leaves the sentimental stuff To his partner and his wife... But Fathers are just WONDERFUL In a million different ways, And they merit loving compliments And accolade of praise, For the only reason Dad aspires To fortune and success Is to make the family proud of him And to bring them happiness... And like OUR HEAVENLY FATHER, He's a guardian and a guide, Someone that we can count on To be ALWAYS ON OUR SIDE. Enjoy, and always remember that as a father you are one of the most important person in your childs' life....HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!!

  20. I know this...I'm not saying he wont be in the sharing mood....there is a very real possibility of that happening....it wont happen unless he does it though, have patience hang out in here and we'll talk about anything else you want, it's cool, then when he gets up we'll go from there
