Carbon Monoxide is really no joke and can really put a damper on your holidays... you're probably fine overnight, but it's better to be safe than sorry. Like I said, don't hesitate to call the non-emergency number in your area and ask to have a fireman check your carbon monoxide levels.

quick safety question... do you have a carbon monoxide detector in the house? If not, you should give a call to the fire department and let them know your furnace is acting funny and you'd like to make sure you don't have a carbon monoxide problem, they'll send someone out to test it... did it for me at my apartment without any question.
