  1. I love these videos and details, my favorite ever was the website that talked all about what went into the armor plating, glass and engine details
  2. Under the carpet can be seen and felt... down the cold air return is 100% invisible
  3. even if the PD wants to do something there's not much they can do... I believe they'd need court documents to do an undercover like this... And CL won't give out information The internet has made criminals' lives so much easier.
  4. Sprint/Verizon are both CDMA... you'll find identical service between them. ATT/Alltel/etc are GSM so you'd likely only notice a difference if you were switching to/from a GSM carrier.
  5. Not sure, but you'll be able to get multiple lines out if you want... or just single lines.
  6. I always caution people from extrapolating CONCLUSIONS from statistical analysis that is primarily correlation (not causation)... BUT, the article helps DISPROVE the hypothesis that the more people that buy guns the more blood that will run through the streets. It's always been an argument of anti gun owners that the more people that have guns the more violence and crime that will be running rampant... it's going to be the wild west! Everyone thinks they are a cop! This preliminary report just helps quiet those concerns a little.
  7. Makes sense. I'm surprised the windows aren't more tinted... I always pictures the motorcade with 100% blacked out windows.
  8. Oh snap, you guys laid the smack down on poor Jayson.
  9. I wanted to post these because it's pretty freaking cool seeing a bit of what goes into the secret service. Also, I'll bet $5 someone brings up the cost In a lot of the motorcade pictures one of the trucks always has the back window open, any speculation why it's like that? Source: http://cryptome.org/info/obama-protect22/obama-protect22.htm I think they got a picture of Casper from the polar bear run... :-D
  10. Your landlord probably has access to the garage, so that'd be the concern with "just run it anyway" But even then, they'd warn you before they just evict you, it's a fire hazard, not like you're cooking meth in there.
  11. damnit, you know it so well! I gotta fix the drill press lol
  12. I thought spamming was a 1 year ban
  13. So that's what the kids are calling it these days... "don"t come in here! I'm pulling my train!" If jcoz was someone posting under another name one of the staff would have surely called him/her out... unless it is one of the staff.
  14. http://consumerist.com/2009/12/30-day-window-to-cancel-sprint-without-penalty-starts-tomorrow.html Make sure if you cancel you have them note your account not immediately cancel, otherwise porting becomes a pain.
  15. No joking, 100% serious here. Ring in the new year then run to the closest 24hr wal-mart and pick up a detector and put it near the furnace and/or where your all sleeping. Carbon Monoxide is really no joke and can really put a damper on your holidays... you're probably fine overnight, but it's better to be safe than sorry. Like I said, don't hesitate to call the non-emergency number in your area and ask to have a fireman check your carbon monoxide levels.
  16. quick safety question... do you have a carbon monoxide detector in the house? If not, you should give a call to the fire department and let them know your furnace is acting funny and you'd like to make sure you don't have a carbon monoxide problem, they'll send someone out to test it... did it for me at my apartment without any question.
  17. maybe a stupid question... is the pilot lit? Anyway, that dude is in hvac I believe.
  18. Now I'm starting to realize why my friends with customs just run a drum brake in the back and no front I'm gonna run brakeless
  19. Just as an important note, the start up for most franchises is "liquid assets"... meaning you can't take out a loan... would need to sell mommy and daddy's house.
  20. hehe, attach the bleeding tube, loosen the bleeder valve. Should be able to pry the pads apart, can use a flathead screwdriver to get in and loosen it.
  21. hehe, perfect for me! I'd pop the cable in from above and down at the bottom so at least it wouldn't be exposed lol When I had the cable jack moved in the master they wanted to run it under the carpet.... I said not a chance in hell.
  22. Thanks a ton man, I'll give you a call after new years sometime this weekend. You're the man. That's an awesome website! Should prove helpful for sure. Although I'm thinking cold air return is going to prove to be the best bet, I have a register that seems to go right into that part of the basement so it should be very easy pop a quick hole and connect it up.
