  1. Sounds great. I replaced the stock 50lb torpedo on my sv with a cheap delkevic and couldn't believe the difference.
  2. I took back roads down last year and had a great time, mapped out an alternative route in this thread if you are interested: http://ohioriders.net/index.php?/topic/102490-cinci-to-deals-gap-back-way/#entry1347670
  3. When we went we had it all to ourselves, on the dragon we kept getting stuck behind cars and cruisers. North Georgia in general was great. This looks awesome I would love to take this down, might have to try to convince my friend to do this instead.
  4. Thanks for the tip I need to take a look at this route. I am not a big dragon fan myself but I do like the cherohala skyway and wolf pen gap etc., but my buddy has never been so we will get his sticker and then move on.
  5. 25E sounds great. Looking at the map I am thinking of jumping off 75 even sooner near richmond onto 421, and then taking 11 over to 25E: https://maps.google.com/maps?saddr=Cincinnati,+OH&daddr=37.7463254,-84.2671595+to:37.4841312,-84.1046241+to:manchester,+ky+to:Middlesboro,+KY+to:805+Foothills+Mall+Drive,+Maryville,+TN+37801&hl=en&ll=37.426888,-84.105835&spn=3.528753,7.13562&sll=37.278424,-83.583984&sspn=3.535735,7.13562&geocode=FY6qVAId7HL2-in5ITjesVFAiDEXk8Dki377aQ%3BFZX2PwIdaS_6-imBj6zjBgJDiDG-uSyokSSdTA%3BFWP2OwIdUKr8-ikbXatlriJDiDH5Ekgh_XuGqQ%3BFaXrNgIdOOUB-ymrpKbSWU1DiDGIzW3dyqpMsg%3BFRmVLgIdE58C-ykLxWVMKoVciDGa0zmKWK3FHg%3BFZOJIQId3EP--ilt5uUgF55eiDGVeoQfv5-MWA&mra=ls&via=1,2&t=m&z=8 Anyone familiar with 421?
  6. Trying to avoid being on 75 any longer than I have to, any recommendations on scenic routes that aren't too far out of the way? I tried to search but didn't find much. Also open to other destinations like Bristol or Blue Ridge routes, planning to take a 3-4 day trip down in September. Thanks in advance.
  7. Bump - price reduced http://cincinnati.craigslist.org/mcy/3122526449.html
  8. On cl: http://cincinnati.craigslist.org/mcy/3122526449.html thanks for looking
  9. We did 374-664 loop, just watch out for gravel...

  11. Haha I was just in McArthur with a friend last week, we hit a bunch of roads around Hocking Hills and then struck off south on some back road. Lots of gravel and my buddy hit a patch & wound up laying his bike down in some farmers front yard. No injures but some cosmetic damage to his bike. I looked at the klr650 but it sounds like it sits higher & too top heavy for alot of offroad riding? I am also looking at a klx250s tomorrow, still not 100% sure what I want...
  12. Thinking about selling my SV and getting a dual sport & I think I have settled on a DR650SE, something I can commute on and still do some light trail/offroad riding + occasional short highway if needed. The question I have is can anyone recommend some good, local to sw ohio trails or places to ride offroad? Nothing too aggressive obviously but good for a day trip ride?
  13. Price reduced $35 this lid is practically new but its too small for my big head...
  14. Price reduced! $85 come pick them up, you are gonna need these for your future deals gap trip...
  15. Is there some site where we can map all these up? It would be nice to have them all listed with descriptions/reviews etc...
  16. Crappy pic, they are the same as these: http://www.motorcyclegear.com/parts/luggage/saddlebags_/cortech_by_tour_master/sport_motorcycle_saddlebags.html Rain covers included.
  17. These were gifts, but they are too big for my tastes. Carried the Endura (FFG) for a couple of days, the other just sat in the box. $45 for the Endura and $22 for the Tenacious. May consider trade for smaller Spyderco models (not byrd).
  18. Bought this for my wife a few years ago & she wore it one time (she doesn't like riding) . $40 OBO.
  19. These came with my bike and have been sitting in my basement ever since. $90 OBO, they list for around $125 new.
  20. Breakin the law breakin the law! Nice vid, I can't wait to go back.
  21. I had one for years and shot it all the time, then one day started having problems. Turned out the extractor had warn out, I bought a hardened extractor & it shot like new. If switching/cleaning mags does not solve your problems this might be the cause, you will know by looking if it needs replaced. Midway has them, only $12: http://www.midwayusa.com/viewproduct/?productnumber=363360&cm_mmc=Froogle-_-Gunsmithing%20-%20Gun%20Parts%20-%20Rifle%20-%20%28Aftermarket%29-_-PriceCompListing-_-363360
  22. I have a springfield 1911 they are great handguns for the price + super reliable. One thing I did was change the barrel bushing and it improved the accuracy. But if you want to win a beauty contest and you got some extra cash buy a Kimber.
  23. Rossi should race this one, he might have a chance for a podium!
