  2. SUGARCREEK TWP. -- News Center 7 has learned that a motorcyclist who was hit by a police cruiser is a Dayton firefighter, and deputies said he had been drinking. The crash happened Monday night on Shephard Road in Sugarcreek Township. The motorcyclist was identified as Eric Jones, and cruiser's video camera captured the crash. Lt. Charley Stepp said, "it was obvious that the operator was out of control." GREENE CO: Drunken Motorcyclist Crashes Into Cruiser
  3. If you do your not allowed to trailer the bike down. Hope you do make it so you can rag on all the Stroom troopers who won't take their trailer queen Stroms off the pavement. Likewise I hope to make it to your ride, but I don't wanna get my bike dirty. Almost forgot to mention I threw in one Hero section for people riding bikes 1000cc or larger. For anyone else it will be something to distract you from picking your nose. It's about a mile long gravel/dirt road that gets water runoff, so if it rains for the next three days people might get wet feet. 3/4 of the way in it becomes a bit rougher with two mini creek crossings and a 6 inch deep rut where runoff has carved out one side of the road. It's right at the end of the ride so trailer queens can skip it if they want. Anyone have a goldwing or V-max I can use for the ride? I hate to make it sound so hard.
  4. Well, the preride is done and the route is set. 130 Miles of paved and gravel road. About .5 miles of washed out road to test your skills on a big bike like a dl1000. In case you don't know what a gravel rd looks like: The cool part was meeting this guy. ;D As some of you know HD's don't impress me, but this was a case of the rider makes the bike. He's 76 years old and isn't local. Nope, all the way from Fairbanks, Alaska and he's not done yet! Heading to North Carolina and then back to Ohio and then some more time around the coast before heading home. Bike has over 90,000mi. It was great chatting with him and we hope he has a great ride the whole time.

It was great chatting with him and we hope he has a great ride the whole time.
  6. None anymore, don't ya know it's illegal. I bought Popcorn a Mac cd burner and it won't even copy movies/videos I made on my PC because it says' "there is no license to copy the possibly protected material". I've managed to get my old Nero burner to read and allow me to reorganize files to make a DVD that contains the full movie. Works 50% of the time. What you might wanna try is copying the movie to your computer, reformat it, then burn it as a new project.
  7. Sounds like a cool route Swing. If I'm not busy I might head out for this one.
  8. Please PM me when you get the bike running and some time to explore.
  9. Seven so far, Anyone else? Ride thread: http://www.ohioriders.net/showthread.php?t=78130
  10. The Bootleg is coming and we worked on the Caveman Challenge Section, after working the trails several decided to test out the challenge section and Washed Up MCrider had one hell of a save coming off a three foot tall rock table when his bike stalled right before launching off the bottom. Pulled what looked like a stoppie for about five feet by staying off the break. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uljGHc45UG0
  11. Tragic but I try to keep the circumstances in perspective. RIP little one.
  12. I hate it when people try to pull over on top of you. Glad it sounds like you'll be okay because bikes can be replaced, body parts not so much. ATGATT FTW!
  13. Yep but good riders succeed. Maybe I shoud shoot a video of me rideing the KLR into the bed of the 2500?
  14. Like the production of dark matter after eating White Castle burgers?
  15. Dangerous town, a car also went off the road into a pond today near 33 and rt4. RIP rider.
  16. Next step is warp drive engines right?
  17. If your family loves you they'll let you go play.
  18. Carefull sailer I love my 950seR. It rocks the single track and is an amazing bike. But that ride is yet to come. Ride will be June 19th. Meet up at the gas station in Laurelville corner of 180 and 56 at 10am. We'll be having lunch at McClures in McArthur because it's good food. Meanwhile I'll start a list of riders: Casper Revelstoker Mike884
  19. Sound like we'd have a good group across forums for a big bike ride. I'll see if Casper can close this thread and start another just for the big bike ride on 6-19. Yes, it's fathers day but if your family loves you they'll let you play during the day and then they can have you back that evening good and relaxed.
  20. Well, no nobbies needed for the easy ride. So far all I have in the works is the easy ride that a good rider could do on a goldwing. I'll announce the real DS ride later, but hopefully before the end of the month.
  21. Thought so. Looks like I may just do two rides, one hard one easy for the adv tourers. So far the feed back on a 6-19 easy ride seems good.
  22. No I figured it was plated, I meant tougher stuff. There's nothing wrong with with having a WR on a easier ride. I just don't want a capable bike like that be get bored with stuff I could do on a Goldwing.
  23. I assume you mean real off road ride?
