  1. What ever speed you go is fine with me from 30 MPH to 130 MPH, every group ride I've been on this year I've conned into leading so this 1 I plan on riding at the back. I'll even ride sweep so if anyone falls back I'll be able to get them back to civilization. For any of you coming down from the North slow your ass down when you get to Portage RD, that is where the 55 MPH zone starts and Canton city has been running heavy patrols on the interstate. The have at least 1 BMW police bike so keep you eyes open for them. With Hall of Fame week about to kick off that wont help matters.
  2. He's lucky to be alive, I knew of a guy who tried that in Alaska and it didn't end so well for him. On another note I've been trying to photograph a bear in Ohio for about 16 years with zero luck so far. One was struck by a car and killed near Alliance about 1 1/2 years ago. If anyone has a any leads let me know.
  3. I have the RK chain tool, you can find them online for around $100, if you use the Motion Blow model be prepared to purchase replacement pins for it.
  4. Outstanding shots sir! Did you rent another "pimp" lens?
  5. I lead a ride down on May 15th of this year http://www.ohio-riders.com/showthread.php?t=57535 Someone else agree to lead and I'm in.
  6. If you folks would like to ride south sometime I would be happy to show you the way. I live 10 min from Atwood lake and have been riding this area for 22 years so I know where the good stuff is with no maps needed. Saturdays would be preferred (or fridays for anyone else lucky enough not working then) but could do it on a Sunday as well. I don't recommend riding down this way after sunset just because of all the deer down here. We could meet up in Canton and I use to lead rides out of Monument park (Mckinley memorial) every Sunday in the past.
  7. RT 250 is no good until you get SE of Cadiz, don't be thinking you'll be seeing the good stuff right off I77. Maybe come down RT44, it's got some decent curves when you get south of E Canton. Then maybe 171 out of Malvern to Carrollton where you can hit RT9 South. I'll be back here at Mid-Ohio myself so I won't be going.
  8. I don't know about Ashland but if you ride your streetbike to Western Reserve in Salem they let you in for free and they will be racing tonight. http://www.westernreservemc.com/
  9. Yes all lighting is 12V. I'll guess your flush mounts don't have running lights built in so you should have 2 extra (1 for each side) wires on each side of the body work that you can use to power your voltage gauge.
  10. No need for a toggle. If you running aftermarket turn indicators you could use the hot wire from the built in running light of the stock signal. Even if you not running aftermarket signals you can still tap into that same wire pretty easily.
  11. The track has gone through many improvements this week and will be ready to ride tonight.
  12. That is where the incident happened but it was not his fault. He cleared it no problem but there was 3 guys lolly gagging at the bottom of the tranny and he had to time to react after clearing the jump. This is Nick on the pipe jump.
  13. Not to scare anyone but this track is not for the timid. Here is my friend Nick's wrist from this past Sat, he is a A rider in both 250 & 450. He took a helicopter ride to Akron General and has had 3 surgeries since. Here's a couple more from last year. Doing it right! Kyle Gills (current pro A rider) GNCC Pro 450 Jim Jarrett Brock Sellards Good friend Zack K Jon C highest point of the track
  14. This is 1 of the best MX tracks around and it is undergoing many improvements this week to boot. Even if you don't race/ride yourself you can come on out and have a blast, you can bring your own fireworks to set off and any beverages of your choice. You can camp at the track and there will be a band performing as well. The track is located in Dennison, Ohio and here is a link to the facebook page http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100000180578211
  15. I went to school with Bronc Ryder Kandy Cane Panda Bear All graduated the same year, must have been something in the water (or good drugs) in my home town.
  16. Maybe, I did a search for "deer strike" yep http://www.ohio-riders.com/showthread.php?t=60733

  18. This is a paid photography gig for me so I won't be able to shoot the breeze much but it should be a fun time.
  19. Yep, same guy but this Suzuki never belonged to me.
  20. The bike belongs to my friend Greg and no he don't want to trade for it. It actually was his GF's and she now has a Triumph street triple R so they are not looking for a replacement bike. He did tell me he has it on CL as well and is tired of the calls asking if he will trade for a old shot gun, livestock & such. Bike is located in Rittman.
  21. ****SOLD**** ** This is not my bike but belongs to a friend of mine, I can verify the excellent condition though and it would be a great starter bike for somebody. I have one 2002 Suzuki SV650 (The naked one) that needs to go. Metallic black 8.2K miles 50 MPG Stock except for an ART stainless slip on and some stoopid aftermarket turn signals added by the previous owner. A GREAT bike you will want to hang onto!!! Expertly maintained and looks fantastic (I give it an 8.5 out of 10). $2500.00 Greg 330-730-0161 (Cell) I am in North East Ohio.
  22. That looks great and I'm sure the owner is happy.
