  1. 519 here. Yeah.. it sucked....errr blew... errrr.. uhhh.. dang.
  2. Rode in to watch Clash of the Titans today at Movie Taven. On the way there my husband (riding in front of me) about got taken out by a truck switching lanes on Fishinger all the way acrossed over to the Trueman Rd turn without his turn signal on- right there in the slight curve before Mill Run. I had to watch out that I didn't hit the hubby who had to brake suddenly even though there was good distance between the two of us I was leaning into my turn and not expecting this braking action to occur. Bike was a bit wobbly acting but I recovered it fine. Thank you BRC. Anyway... riding home after the movie (Movie was great btw).. WINDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDY!!!! Auntie Em! Auntie Em! That was a new one for me. Hadn't rode in winds like that before. 50 mph winds threw my little Honda 750 around like it was a rag doll. Anyone else have fun out there today in the wind?
  3. Was out today (in full gear) on the bike. DAMN WAS IT WINDY! Auntie Em! Auntie Em!
  4. Thursdays are great. Now I just have to read this entire thread to find out WHERE.
  5. Rode the work for the first time (EVER TO ANY JOB). Ahhh... nice!!!!
  6. I live near there. From you post I take it you do too. Have we seen each other around? Btw, thnx for the heads up.

  8. Marysville here also on a Cruiser. People here aren't haters.. too much.
  9. I'd like to join your group. I went to your website but couldnt get some of the links to work.

    How do I join?

  10. LOL! You're right on the lack of hills. I think I could do much better in slow tight turns in parking lots. I'm always afraid I'm going to stall my bike when I'm trying to park her outwards in a parking spot. Just trying to balance the clutch and throttle ratio in tiny parking space without killing it.
  11. Yep! You must have got out on that bike pretty early on then. When did you get back out there? Thanks on the congrats. I know it sounds super cheesy...but being that I've not been riding for years like the majority here.. it was quite the big deal to me. Made me so happy. Felt awesome to ride!!! ps--- I've had entirely too much coffee .. LOL!! I'm a giddy mess right now. Between riding and caffiene.. I'll be lucky to sleep tonight!
  12. yay you got a bike again!!!!
  13. Thanks Scott! It meant alot that everything went smoothly. It kind of was a yay or nay deal breaker sort of thing if you understand what I mean. I know you've been riding forever.. but being that I'm only 5 months in the saddle.. yeah, it mattered alot.
  14. purrrrrrrrrrrrdy! Yeah, where is the post for the old bike up for sale? ps- I need to you to memory foam my seat.
  15. So some of you know that I've only been riding in total since late June of last year (took the BRC and all that jazz). Today was the first day back out on the roads for me. I have to say I was a little concerned in the days leading up to today of how things would be for me back in the 'saddle' again. It was great!!! I didn't do anything stupid like stall the bike. I leaned fine into my curves. Looked through my curves, etc. It was friggn' awesome! I didn't just puss out and do side streets and back roads. I also did 33 at least from Riverside to Marysville. It was awesome. Anyway.. I was pretty happy that all I learned in the BRC stuck with me being as new as I am. You also gotta consider that we don't live in warm weather all year round so I hadn't road since the first week of November. Pretty happy if I do say so myself. RIDE SAFE! DGTL GRL aka Christina
  16. My husband wants my 12 year old dog to have a friend. I dunno though.. I'm not into training a new one.
