  1. so, i started working out again. Yay me! I do the eliptical. I have a moderate-high resistance (like 8 to 10). I use only my legs for 2 mins, then sprint for 30 seconds, then use my arms only for 2 minutes. I do that for 30 minutes and it is a great toning and cardio workout. I am dropping inches all around!

    wtg!!! :)

  2. Sorry fellows, she's taken!!!!!!!!!!!!

    We are gettin married 8/8/09!!!!!!!!

Welcome her though and please give her encouraging words to ride.

She loves it. Hopefully she will take the MSF course to see if she wants her own.

    :welcome:TO THE GROUP!

    CONGRATS!!!

Yes, take the MSF COURSE! I took it twice. Passed the first time but took it again just because.

  3. Looks like my wife and I will both be there Friday' date=' she's excited to be able to stay out past dark on her scooter now that she's fully licensed :)

That's assuming I can fix her mirror/windshield before then. The weight/vibration of the windshield we had put on it recently snapped the bolt holding the mirror on, which the windshield attaches to. The damn bolt is broke off and stuck in the threaded hole :([/quote']

I look fwd to meeting her.

What was that one tool that Sears was selling that removed broken bolts? Bullfrog? I can't recall now. I hope it all works out there. Sounds like a P.I.T.A.

  4. Hey I work out at lifetime too...mostly at easton tho BUT I usually can be found at Dublin for my workouts on Saturday b/c I live at the outside pool the rest of the day!

ANd have you tried Alexander's contact class? I burn 800 calories during that thing...then go eat like a big the rest of the night. :D I know I'm defeating the purpose!

You running the Columbus Marathon? I just signed up and start my training this week! I'm using the frontrunner training group. You should try it! Then I will know somebody that I'm running with! Woot!

I've never tried Alexanders class. I should!

My hubby is the marathon (well, at least half) runner. You know him! So, maybe you two could chat. I am not much of a runner honestly. 4 miles is about it thus far. LOL!

I rolled my right ankle numerous times before so I have to be a bit careful or it starts giving me heck.

I've never been thin and doubt I'll ever be a size 2 but I never want to go back to where I was back in 2002.

Both my hubby and I weighed at least 260lbs EACH..yeah..EACH!

Imagine that on someone who is only 5' 1".

  5. Worthington, Polaris, Dublin --- but make sure you have some renter's insurance or alarm system

Marysville -- I have an alarm system (mostly due to 2 break-ins at my last apartment in the Polaris area) but know others around me who think I'm foolish because they've never had problems.

  6. I work out at Lifetime Fitness (Dublin), run, and occasionally kickbox at Core Tactix in Dublin. I completed my first 5k recently. Hopefully more to come.

My husband works out at LT too, and also runs half marathons.

I need to strengthen my legs for when my bike gets back (hopefully by Friday) so that I can properly hold up all 519lbs of it without much worry. Those little 250s are no problem... but a 750 is a bit more bike! lol

  7. I know it's a matter of time before they cancel my contract. I have very little if any regular work to do. I'm begging for work!

I am currently studying for my CAPM (Certified Associate in Project Management) exam in my cube with the occasional O.R. refresh.

  8. Hopefully I can make it. Having a heart procedure on the 8th, so we will see.

Yeah, I hope all goes well! If you need anything in the 'Ville let me know. I'll go get things for you if you don't feel like running out. I know how bad I hate WalMart on a regular non-post-surgery day. Just let me know.
