  1. I tend to use oil, and chase with with a bit of balm. I've tried a few different balms and the only one that didn't make my beard feel like straw, is this stuff. I use it very sparingly. http://www.burlymanbeard.com/burly-beards/ The oil helps keep things soft, and the balm just helps keep it tame. If I just use oil, it looks like I'm transforming into chewbacca
  2. Did a shake down ride of the off-road conversion yesterday https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=YRW0-Q-FrjE

  7. This is for the WRR. I believe the WRX wheels to be much lighter than the 18/21 combo.

  9. My WR is slow getting there, but will do 91. It weighs 300lbs in stock form. It's a 250, and it's not for everyone but I dig it.
  10. Stuff isn't going to be used on asphalt. I won't wear textile on the street. I just want it to ride trails with. I don't really want to go the motoX pant and jersey route.
  11. Anyone have anything in 32-34 waist, and 40-44 jacket?
  12. Yes it is.. I've been rounding up some parts in the last few weeks- the girl now swings both ways...
  13. Dang it- I'm going to be there a week later! I'm not sure I can pull off a trip back to back like that, or I would 100% play support crew for you.
  14. I'll come ride beside you on the moto provide water or assistance. I haven't pedaled in months. :-(
  15. I really want to go ride tar hollow. Does anyone have any GPS cords or a ride route they mind sharing ?
  16. alright, as promised. I spend a ton of time with my little man. It has changed my life 100%. My wife works insane hours. I USED to wrench in the garage endlessly, all winter long. In the summer, i did track days , and rode a lot. Every day practically. Now, I am Mr. Mom while my wife is at work. My mother in law watchs him while I'm at work. I had a very very tough time with this in the beginning. Now, i wouldn't change it for the world. I love the time i get to spend with him. I still get to wrench, just not as often. its therapy for me, and I appreciate that time more than ever. As for riding, I'm still riding a bit, but my interests have changed from track days, to kart track riding and trail riding. I have learned to appreciate the healing power of some throttle therapy more than ever, just at a slower pace. Some guys give up riding once they have kids. I feel thats a bit nuts, to take something I've done my whole life and just give it up. its a part of me, its made me who i am. I want my son to know the "real" me. not a guy who used to ride motorcycles. As he gets older, i hope he takes an interest, and wants to go ride trails, and kart track or whatever we decide to ride. I wouldn't feel guilty about going riding. If your logging 50k a year, yes i may say you need a reality check. But the sunday ride, or weekend trip, don't stress. You need that personal time for yourself.
  17. We had our little one 4 months ago. I will explain my view of it, this evening when I have an actual keyboard on hand. Congrats !
  18. I'm not sure I'll get to race the entire season, but I'll certainly make a few races!
  19. I've ended up with an 18/21 combo now. I'm just waiting on my front brakes to arrive for the smaller rotor and I'm ready.
  20. hidden springs has some funny hours, but I will go ride with you. Just let me know when you wanna go.
