That's what I said as well. He's not very mechanically inclined. He told me yesterday, he's a painter for a reason
-
It's making a knocking noise. Seems to run fine aside from that. He's not inclined enough to tear into it, and I don't have time.

Not real close to Columbus , but it's 7000 acres and 100+ mile of trail http://www.rushoffroad.com

Very cool bike. People really under estamate little motorcycles. My 250 is far more fun than any liter bike I've ridden

I've become pretty partial to off-road in recent months and was wondering if anyone else here did any dual sporting? Would someone be interested in leading a dual sport ride? Being in dayton, there doesn't seem to be much going locally.

Threw some 18/21s on the wrx with some dunlop at81s.... I have no idea what I was doing But it went better than expected.

I'm out for this weekend, but we should go for a ride sometime

^ this. I have serious respect for peple like that. Those are people who want to ride, not doing it because "it's cool"

^^ I'm with this guy. Throttle therapy is required. Ask me how I know.

Lines are sloppy, it was cold, but man it sure felt good to get out and ride!

I'm north of dayton as well. There are a few OK roads, but there's 10-15 miles between the next road. Nothing consistent and nothing great by any means. I have a 100 mile loop I do on occasion and if you took the connector roads out, you might have 10 miles of road.

Anyone in the dayton-Troy- piqua area here, do concrete work?
-
Good work as always.

I forgot about the Exup- those are prone to sticking and not working properly. The heat cycles cook the oem grease. The best thing Id found to work , was good ol anti seize on the bushings. Another thing to look at is your ducting going to the air box. The fz1s ducting pulls from under the seat and I recall a fellow sucking his owners manual into it.

I can't say, I have noticed a difference in cagers, but I have noticed that many more women are riding. Even saw two ladies, two up on a harley last fall.

Edit- post deleted. Reading comprehension fail on my part.

2003 Yamaha TT 125 L for first dirt bike

I agree, I wasn't implying it was a good deal, and that he should by that exact bike. I guess I should have stated that. I was just using it as an example. -

There's a huge difference between a TTR250 and a yz250f. I would look for a trail based 250, not an MX based 250. Something like this, ( I know its not a 250) Would be a great starter trail bike. http://dayton.craigslist.org/mcy/4952413243.html -
We better ban wind noise , since it's the real culprit here...
