  1. Good to know, will likely purchase some oil as the length comes in.

I tend to use oil, and chase with with a bit of balm. I've tried a few different balms and the only one that didn't make my beard feel like straw, is this stuff. I use it very sparingly.

The oil helps keep things soft, and the balm just helps keep it tame. If I just use oil, it looks like I'm transforming into chewbacca

  2. What you have to remember about turbos:

They're more load dependent than rpm dependent.

It's not like a 2 stroke where you just keep them zinging... You'd have to keep it loaded to keep it boosting. Which is impossible if you're going through corners properly.

This- I've always always thought about this

  4. alright, as promised.

I spend a ton of time with my little man. It has changed my life 100%. My wife works insane hours. I USED to wrench in the garage endlessly, all winter long. In the summer, i did track days , and rode a lot. Every day practically. Now, I am Mr. Mom while my wife is at work. My mother in law watchs him while I'm at work. I had a very very tough time with this in the beginning.

Now, i wouldn't change it for the world. I love the time i get to spend with him. I still get to wrench, just not as often. its therapy for me, and I appreciate that time more than ever. As for riding, I'm still riding a bit, but my interests have changed from track days, to kart track riding and trail riding. I have learned to appreciate the healing power of some throttle therapy more than ever, just at a slower pace.

Some guys give up riding once they have kids. I feel thats a bit nuts, to take something I've done my whole life and just give it up. its a part of me, its made me who i am. I want my son to know the "real" me. not a guy who used to ride motorcycles. As he gets older, i hope he takes an interest, and wants to go ride trails, and kart track or whatever we decide to ride.  I wouldn't feel guilty about going riding. If your logging 50k a year, yes i may say you need a reality check. But the sunday ride, or weekend trip, don't stress. You need that personal time for yourself.

  5. Ty guys, I am really scared about being a dad, always imagined myself to be a not so mature crazy guy. Will you be feeling guilty if you are out riding on those few off days you get without spending quality time with family? Is this why many active riders from the past years in forum are not that much into riding these days?

We had our little one 4 months ago. I will explain my view of it, this evening when I have an actual keyboard on hand. Congrats !

  6. I usually ride around here at a friends place. have some woods around. but Id love to explore bigger woods and riding areas. want to hit up Enon Ohio. they have one called hidden springs ranch. (I think).

hidden springs has some funny hours, but I will go ride with you. Just let me know when you wanna go.
