...get a 350Z instead of a mustang.

350 is more than I want to spend. This is a testing waters thing to see if I'm even interested in having a "fun car". I don't want to get a bunch wrapped up front to find out I'm not interested.

I had a GT for a few years, and quickly realized it wasn't fast.  It was however, a convertible, 5 speed, V8 that was fun to drive.  Especially in the twisties.

I'm trying to stay away from convertibles but thats a beautiful car. 

Thats nuts! The only plans for this is suspension stuff. Keeping engine stock, to help maintain reliability. I just want a decent handling car thats fun to drive. Are there any big things I need to keep an eye out for that these cars have issues with?

Not really going for fast. More for fun. Something the wife and I and kiddo can take out for a cruise and enjoy. Maybe make a trip or two to the mountains in.

depends. It comes factory with a forged piston. I believe it would depend what kind of PSI was ran, and how it was ridden, and maintained, just like anything else. 

I haven't. theres a few of them around. There was one on craigslist for 7k for a long time. I've not ridden one, but I'm not sure how I'd feel about it. 

Looking to add a play car to the fleet. Ive been pretty partial to the 99-04  ford mustang GTs. Leather interior with a manual trans. Whats the low down on these? 

I've worked out a deal with the owner of the dirt wheels, and he's allowed me to include them in on the sale. So its basically two bikes in one! Someone snag this thing up!

Hey, new to this area, originally from upstate NY. Living in Piqua now, haven't been able to find many good roads around. What roads do you typically ride out here?

I have a loop. It's roughly 100ish miles. The problem with Said loop is that, if you took all the connecting roads out, it may be 10 miles worth of road. Just not much good in this area . Welcome to western Ohio!
