yea I planned on venturing over into the national park and such but, I don't think ol bessy is going to go along. Id rather just ride down there, and not have to worry about having my truck and my bike there. So just the trucks going. I will make another trip to TN to ride before the end of summer, if anyone wants to go.

anyone ridden around the pigeon forge area? I am debating taking my bike but, don't necessarily want to ride by myself in an area Ive never ever been to.

Hey everyone, The family(mom dad sister girlfriend and I) have been planning a trip to myrtle beach for quite awhile. Well long story short due to medical reasons mom is not able to go. My girlfriend and I have the time off, and are trying to find somewhere to go from the 8/7 to 8/15. Preferably beach as she has never seen the ocean. Any suggestions?

Stupid Harley guys!
I dont totaly agree with this, but come harley guys seem to have this mentaility that there is notihing better than a Harley. It all comes down to personal preference. I dont have a harley because that's not the style bike I want to ride. air cooled to water cooled, you can argue until your blue in the face. each one has its plus's and minus's. I personally prefer water cooled. It comes back to the age old argument of " is the glass half full or half empty"

Funny. I was just on their website as well and thinking, "they really need to hire a web designer, this shit sucks".
I ended up just going to Competition Accessories website. It's a million times better, and the prices are the same on most everything. Iron Pony's website makes my head hurt with how unorganized it is. Then add to that how slow it is.......
yes but due to some customer service issues, i refuse to deal with comp, so untill pony fixes there site, ill just deal with it.

the cct is very common on these bikes as it was controlled with oil pressure I belive. this will solve all your problems. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/APE-Cam-Chain-Tensioner-Honda-CBR600-F2-CBR-Hurricane_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQ_trksidZp3286Q2em20Q2el1116QQhashZitem5881d9bdacQQitemZ380135652780QQptZMotorcyclesQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories
My bike has 42000 on it and it runs like brand new.Change the oil, I had my valve lash checked (per honda manual every 16000) and I would not hesitate to ride it to california. It doesnt use any oil, doesn't smoke. Biggest problem with the f3s, and im assuming the f2s have the same issue is the regulator/rectifier. They dont have any cooling fins on them, and they get hot. Eventually they crack. This can be solved by putting an r/r from an r6 or get a ricks regulator http://www.gdlcycles.com/asp1/findmemodelpages.asp?qsmake=CBR%20600%20F3&qspart=Rectifier I personally have the ricks regulator and dont have any issues

good roads? Nah mediocre roads ,yes, quite a few, but nothing consistent. Biggest problem is you will have a halfway fun road, and it will be 20 miles to get to the next one.

alan- I know a few good parking lots we can go to, and work on some of the breaking techniques and cornering techniques from the msf class if youd like.
