I am thinking about going for a ride to hocking hills next saturday. I used to go to hocking hills every year for the winter hike. I've never been there in the summer. Anyone in the area willing to lead a ride once we get there?

im thinking of a day trip, leaving around 6 am. getting breakfast and heading out

no, supposidly there is a county road 55. The county numbers all the roads if they have a name or not. I cant find it anywhere on a map. Ive ridden st route 55 a billion times. Its fun up towards urbana.

front brakes will get you! I got myself in the habit of using them both at the same time, because I used to favor the rear over the front and vice versa. When I took the msf course, they stressed propper braking to the point I did not even want to hear the word brake, but some how I got into the habbit of using them both at the same time. Glad everything was alright man. It was real nice meeting up with you. I definitly would like to see the video!

I have had numerous people tell me about a county road 55 between urbana and springfeild. Does anyone know anything at all about this road? I can't seem to find it on a map?

I think I am going to leave them black. Some reason I really like that combination. I was going to keep the fender black too, but I broke down and painted it. I painted my solo seat cowl I have too.

I've never had my bike up that high before. but I wont lie I did have it up over 100 once on N75 in a hurry to get home one day. I'm more of a timid rider for the most part.

nothin wrong with that! I rarley go that fast. I cant afford to loose my licenses. most of the time i find some nice twisties, do the speed limit and just have a good time.

i think im gona hit it up sometime in the next week. Im always down for a good ride. Its a few miles from home, but thats no biggy!

haha yea i forgot id posted it, but i think this one has alittle more pictures. As far as the shorty pipe, thats straight ebay! thats the moto gp pipe everyone asks about on cbr forum. halfass welded some washers in there to mellow it down, and thats it. I cant belive ive seen guys pay upwards of 150 bucks for those things!!

no problem man, shit happens.Just get ahold of me when you want to ride, im almost always down to ride, as long as your not doing the 150 mph passes down 75. then I will meet you where ever you wanna go, but i wont chase haha

We refer to the twisty road between Yellow Springs and Xenia as the backbone. Did you happen to catch where the guy might be from?

he was from xenia i belive. He rode a gixxer, I belive his name was nick. He had alot of dirt bike style in his riding.He was a hell of a rider though, and a nice guy.

only issue with that missing bolt, is if you look at the pictures of the build that entire area was gone. I had to remake it with glass.At that time, I couldnt make new tabs, so im actually missing a tab right there. I am probably going to go back and make a tab this winter.

thanks everyone. i didn't really dig into it deep until right around Christmas time last year, and we shot it in February, so think that's too bad from how it started out. I started out with 37304 on it and ive now got almost 42000. So shes got alil bit of seat time. Not as much as I would like, but summers not over yet!

Well guys heres my f3. I haven't posted this on this forum so I thought I would show you guys all my project thread, from the time i got my bike untill now.

Now shes had a hard life. Shes been down a few times from what I can tell, and no one ever really repaired what they broke. When I got ahold of it it had 37304 miles on her. The rear brake pedel was gone, and thanks to a member of the forum I now have rear brakes back on. Someone had spray painted it black, right over the honda stickers. It is now in the middle of being prepped for paint. A couple peices of the body work are pretty rough, but I am going to shoot it anyways, and peice it back together as time goes with really nice body work. I still have a list of parts I need for it such as the upper right fairing(near the headlight) the "inspection covers" on the sides, and a front fender. I could also use the left side rear fairing. Here is a pic from when I bought the bike home. It is now almost entirley stripped of the black paint, minus the one upper fairing I need and the tank. I will update this thread as I go along.

no this was in the dayton area, he was leaving our msf course on sunday and going to ride there, i didnt have my bike so i didnt go along. Kid was from xenia said it was in that area.

I wanna do something like that...See Mt. Rushmore and circle through Yellowstone...But that may be more riding than you have time for..

There was a guy in my msf course that i remember talking about something called devils backbone or somthing along those lines. supposidly it has some awesome twisties in the area. does anyone have any idea what this is?
