  1. I'm glad the big ride didn't ruin riding for you, I wasn't sure how all the slab on the 250 would do. Looks like you have opened up a whole new world of adventure :D
  2. I'd be interested in that too. I'm also planning a few trips to TN for next season, ill keep you guys in the loop on.
  3. well its certainly fugly, but its very functional, and cheap. I don't think anyones going to give me too much shit for an ugly windscreen when its cold out. Snot, How'd you do yesterday? thats a long ride!
  4. I fabbed up this ugly little thing, and rode 50 miles. Thats about it! What about you?
  5. I had an old givi screen with a cracked corner, and a good amount of scratchs. A friend of mine had it on his bike when he totaled it. So I decided to make my own adjustable lip. No, its not pretty, or clean. But its very functional. It was 45 degrees today, and I did 50 miles very comfortably. I had no idea the wind noise could be this quiet on any motorcycle. Its almost non existent. The engine purring at 5k even became annoying on the highway, because I could hear it! I went to lowes, purchased a piece of lexan, and some L brackets. made up some braces marked my holes and got to drilling. All went smooth, until I got lazy. I didn't pilot drill my second mounting hole. Crap! all gorilla glued back together and mounted up.
  6. I'm not elderly yet, But I will agree with mr. Heimer. I have been through 3 bikes in 4 years to finally get one that fits me well. Also Congrats on the engagement!
  7. Bump for a beautiful bike. My favorite CBR ever produced!
  8. not bad at all. I just don't know how into an electric smoker I am. I like fire! On a side note, if anyone is passing through miamisburg ohio, you need to stop at dark horse tavern and have some brisket!
  9. I'm going to go for a run this week sometime. I have been doing a lot jump rope. It seems to be working very well for me, and its one heck of a work out.
  10. So I bought this thing, and was never happy with it from the start. Tried to sell it. No dice. Got tired of it collecting dust, so I decided to play with it. I chopped it down to 14 inchs, purchased a repack kit, polished the ends, painted the can with high temp. ( If that doesn't hold up, i will go powdercoat)
  11. ^^ and don't use regular slugs in a rifled barrel!
  12. decided the gasser was the way..eh? Bump for a good price!!
  13. Gotta get that down force!! You know, when your kicking it sideways at 140...
