  1. Don't judge, I'm certain I'm on a terrorist watch list somewhere lol
  2. Would've been better if your come to town and bought it from me
  3. Just had ours for the year. I got a Blue Ray Home Theater System and the card said thanks for a lawsuit free year
  4. No, no it doesn't. Private sale is a very very small percentage of gun trade and guns never make it to private sale with a nics check to first get to private hands. So there is still an accountability process. And like I said, private sale is a very very small part. Instituting nics for private sale would make an unnoticeable difference. Besides that any private seller can still have a nics done by simply doing the transaction at a dealer. We have done it at delta several times, buyer and seller both come in and buyer fills out paper and we run it. Not that hard. You are over thinking this and asking for an unneeded useless change that already is available to you
  5. NICS checks are already done at gun shows. There is no loop hole for a dealer. Private sales can take place anywhere, a gun show is not needed for a private sale and there is no real way to regulate private sales. Guns in the wrong hands also are not often from a private sale, they are stolen
  6. This will be the second time as an official OR event but this will be the 5th time for a few of us
  7. For some odd reason I wanted to give him the benefit of doubt and hope he had some insiteful deep meaning that I missed. Yea I know it's reaching but I hoped there was something redeeming he would add
  8. Not sure if serious, not sure if said in good or bad taste. Am sure didn't need said at all. You know it's a small world and there well could be several members here directly effected by this tragedy. There's several other threads where douche comments could fit nicely and even be welcomed, this thread however is not one
  9. You are right, a few wont. But most will and you'll find motorcycle transport will be few and far between. You have to cater to the masses more than the few to get a profitable business going and the very few that demand enclosed will not make up for the price difference of enclosed let alone the loss of freight due to having enclosed. Trust me on this, I've been there. Also the expense of your IFTA, DOT, ICC, 26000+ GVW Plates and million dollar liability policy do not make this a part time venture and that's not counting the payment on truck and trailer. I won't complicate your thread further, you can call me if you want and I will gladly talk to you further. Like I said, I've been there. I did it for 2 years and your thinking is flawed. I thought the same as you going into it and did the research too. Real world though is much different. I wish you luck and you can call if you want but trust me, your thinking on this is wrong.
  10. You will have more flexibility and load options availible to you with an open trailer and tarps than an enclosed trailer. As well as lower cost and weight. Also easier to load and secure your load
  11. I wouldn't dream of touching that pretty bike. You on the other hand I plan on feeding under cooked pork and chicken to along with ridiculous amounts of liquor so the turns make you so sick you have to slow down and puke while I pass you
  12. But I do wish you luck in your venture, I did hotshot loads, car hauling and trailer hauling for 2 years. It's a cut throat business and every one will try to undercut your price. Unless you have a very good broker and stay loaded out and back for atleast $1.50 a mile you are wasting your time.
  13. Yea, good luck dragging a 15 bike trailer thru the Gap without incident
  14. For the money, its hard to beat a Liberty Safe. Lowes is a Liberty Dealer and they price match plus 10%. So when the clearance ads come out from the gun and sporting goods stores take that ad to Lowes for another $100 off. My last safe purchase was the Liberty Fat Boy for almost half price
  15. No. Any mag designed to hold more than 30 rnds is banned except if used in an NFA tax stamped weapon. IE, these mags are perfectly legal in my SBR but becomes a crime when I put in my regular AR
  16. You ever tried to use it? folds like tin foil
  17. There are no suspension tools under your seat.
  18. We do that at home. The Gap is for our who's faster shit talking. Home is for our better sheep lover shit talking
