  1. They use to race them before the rc51
  2. What a great weekend. It was an absolute blast to have 2 great days to ride. Saturday morning was damp from overnight rain but was perfect the rest of the weekend.
  3. Really hope to smash a PB this weekend.
  4. I'll be honest, I don't know what that is but it sounds amazing.
  5. Glad I only fit one of these and I don't talk about it.
  6. When did STT quit doing a lead follow novice?
  7. They don't really do that with N2, novice is just like I with different rules.
  8. So what forum is that? I know it's not here.
  9. No one goes there. 1 more day until we leave for pitt
  10. \m/ can't wait for that concert.
  11. Raised in New Phila, live in uhrichsville now.
  12. Plus we are talking corrections to make a corner, your lean should already be set. Maybe that's the confusion. You're not changing lean but using brakes and lowering the head to make the corner.
  13. I'm just saying that you will have more issues with letting off the gas mid corner than using the front brake. All of it loads the front the same but letting off the gas is more of an unknown every time as you may not be on the gas the same amount every time. Plus, you shouldn't be on the gas at all until the bike is pointed where you want it to go, usually post apex.
  14. Not a difference in preference, both should be used. Not going to lie, this sentence makes my head hurt. 🤣
  15. You aren't adding lean with either, if you do you are asking for trouble. As for dipping decreasing lean angle, that's not the case. If you are using it to tighten up the turn, you don't dip and stand the bike up otherwise you didn't need to dip. The brakes are not scary, that is where you want to be.
  16. You can bring your head in farther on entry to tighten up the line, entry and exit dips are 2 separate things. Street or track, it doesn't matter. You should be "relying" on the brakes. Go to a riding school, they will all tell you the same thing.
  17. I hit that damn thing with my shoulder.
  18. If you need to tighten a line and braking like you should, added a couple of % to tighten it up isn't going to be an issue, you can also use your head to tighten the line, or both. Rolling off the gas mid corner is more dangerous than the brakes. It will overload the tire quicker.
  19. It's a technique problem not a leaned over braking problem. That's going to happen every time hitting the brakes like that. If you are leaned over already you have to ease in to them slowly. You're better off carrying them in to the corner not hitting them in the middle.
  20. My race bike has linked brakes, it's not the cause. How hard are you using them while leaned over and where did you start your application. Breaking while leaned over isn't bad at all.
  21. I planned on going then realized that I'm going to summit that weekend.
