Awesome gun, never had an issue with mine.....after several hundred rounds. Works flawlessly.

Isn't there one right beside Iron Pony as well. I used to work with the owners of Sinners & Saints. They were "security" at a bar. However, last time I was in their shop they weren't very organized, and were rude. Good Luck.

A little back story..... I purchased a few paracord items from Parks awhile back and decided I liked it and wanted to make my own. I made a ton of bracelets and keychains and whatever, however I didn't post anything up since Parks was selling and it is only fair. Anyway, I made this today. I still have a bit more to do but it turned out pretty nice. The large tan section is one solid piece of paracord over 30 feet long. It't going to get another layer of black/OD Green over top of it. I have been talking about making slings for about 2 months now and just finally got around to it. One of the guys I work with wants it for his AR since he has the single Point sling adapter. When I buy my AR in the next few months I think I'll add the adapter as well. It turned out really well. What do ya think? Completed An yeah my fingers did actually bleed from finishing it.

I ride a cruiser, and don't bar hop when I ride. In fact most of the cruisers I ride with don't drink and ride. Besides how are you precious crotchrockets able to run twisties while on one wheel, doing 125, in shorts, a tank top, flip flops with your arms flapping? Enough with he sterotype BS. If you don't want to wave then don't wave. But find some better to complain about.

Because of all the people using Netflix, Hulu, or whatever, the bandwidth from the cable companies is starting to suffer. Docsis 3 is starting to relieve some of the issues, but Docsis 3 chassis cost serious $$$. With as popular as these "programming on demand" services are getting, and the fact that cable/sat companies are losing money, I would assume a rate hike for High Speed Data is coming. Or they will start charging based on the bandwidth used. The amount of customers getting installed with HSD only is growing on a daily basis, and usually they are the ones who are hogging the bandwidth.

Just another thought, 8% isn't that big of a discount, on a $200 bill it saves you a whole $16. ( I know, Hard math right there) Cell companies really don't want you to leave. If your happy with Verizon's service, call them and tell them you get a discount if you switch to AT&T, they will most likely give you a better discount. I did something similar about a year ago. They gave me a great rate on full everything for 2 phones and hooked me up with 2 Droid 2's for 75 bucks each. Just a thought.

I normally wave, unless I forget, am cornering, or coming to a stop and using my hands. I don't care if anyone waves back. Speaking of waving, a group of us went down 555 and over to Pomeroy for lunch yesterday and stopped at a gas station a few miles before getting on 555. While standing in the parking lot waiting for people to use the bathroom or finish their cigarette, some chick riding a Harley with a dude on riding bitch goes by. The dude decides to wave, and not just the "hey, how's it going" wave, but the full on "errrrr I wear this helmet because I randomly walk into walls", hand flailing high in the air wave. A few of us saw him and started busting up laughing. I did wave back tho, I'm positive it made his day.

I love my Meanstreak, but it is a little under powered compared to the new cruisers on the market. That being said, it has plenty of power for 2up and just riding in general. I have an '02 which is 1500cc the '04+ have 1600cc. I just looked at the Special Edition Meanstreak on Craigslist for $5000. he already had aftermarket pipes and a power commander on it. The only thing left would be an intake. For 2up riding I would look into a more comfortable seat and back rest. Other bikes I have looked at: Raider - you already said you weren't a fan of. M109r - great looking bike with loads of power, very wide, if you aren't tall it will probably be too wide. Massive rear tire, from what I've heard it eats rear tires. It also has dual air cleaners, if you want to upgrade them it will cost $$$. VTX1800 - Nice bike, tons of after market parts available. Loads of power, Very common, and I personally didn't like the feel of the bars. If your looking for something with the fairing, saddlebags, radio, take a look at the Kawasaki Vaquero or the Harley Street glide. Good luck.

I call Bullshit. Someone needs to call IP and tell him his wife is using his account, you're being too nice and seem to be trying to diffuse the situation.

LOL I very rarely drink anymore. I think the last time I was in a bar was about a year ago.

I meant that as, don't pull your gun with no intent to use it, obviously if you draw and the other guy retreats, fine. But don't think by just drawing it, you are going to diffuse the situation, that's just asking to be shot/killed. There are too many scenarios to cover, ie if your being threatened with a knife, or blunt object and present a gun, I'd say it would most likely diffuse the situation, however if someone already has a gun pointed at you and you draw, hesitation in waiting to see if the other guy retreats simply because you pulled a gun may get you shot.... So I guess I shouldn't have used never.......

I think I will be picking one of these up, I want something small to carry in the summer and when I am on my bike. I love my XD and if Springfield made a small single stack 9 or a .380 I'd have it. I have heard rumors Springfield was going to make a small single stack 9 which is why I haven't purchased anything yet.

If you feel threatened for your life or the life of someone else you are able to use your CCW. If you kill someone, you will be questioned by the police.
-
This is where taking the class and being prepared come into play. If you feel threatened for your life, and you pull the gun there should be no hesitation. If you hesitate you may well be dead. You are taught, if you pull the gun, you better be prepared to use it. Pulling a gun should never be used as a deterrent.

no one is "afraid" to eat in them. We are saying we won't based on the fact that the owner put up a sign stating no one with a valid license to carry a firearm is permitted in his establishment. The sign "prevents" law abiding citizens from entering the establishment while carrying, but does nothing to stop criminals from carrying a firearm in. To me that's like saying I'll take my chances with the criminals, you people with your back ground checks and fancy permits scare me. edit: there is really no way to stop someone from carrying a gun into a restaurant or bar, or store. But putting up a sign stating someone that has taken the coarse and completed the back ground check is not allowed to enter while carrying a gun is just dumb.

I didn't think you were trying to be a dick. I'm just amazed at naive you seem to be. I just hope nothing pops the bubble on the dream world you seem to be living in. I don't leave my house thinking that I'm going to get robbed, assaulted, or attacked. I carry my gun so I am prepared in case I need it.

So your question was "have you ever needed your gun while eating dinner", well no, but have you ever needed your gun while sleeping, or sitting at home watching TV? Maybe you should take your guns back to the store since you have never "needed" them while you were at home. Apparently in your logic, the "criminals" will see your eating dinner and decide that its dinner time and not bother with robbing you. Since when do violent crimes only occur in the ghetto? Murders, rape, gang activity, and any other violent crime can happen anywhere. People get fired everyday from many different places. So say you and your family decide to stop for dinner but because your a real man you decide to leave your gun in the car. You're going in for dinner why would you need a gun criminals don't shoot up restaurants. So you get your food and your enjoying your meal, when the door opens and in walk some guy you never met before who got fired from the exact restaurant, your now eating in, and he's back to exact a little revenge. Or maybe the guy didn't work there at all but he found out his girlfriend, who is at your table refilling your water, has been cheating on him. You and your family are now and danger and because your a man, your gun is in the car. Yeah that's a made up scenario, but a bet I can find similar stories throughout the US. and yeah you're probably right 99% of us will never have to deal with that situation, but there is a chance. And no having a gun does not make you invincible, but it at least levels the field.

While the story was good the comments at the bottom made me LOL.
