  1. Priced reduced, it's now $40 below Vances, no taxes, and some extra mags compared to buying new.
  2. May be a repost, not sure. I just got it in email form and figured I'd share. Remember it takes a college degree to fly a plane, but only a high school diploma to fix one; a reassurance to those of us who fly. After every flight, UPS pilots fill out a form, called a 'gripe sheet,' which tells mechanics about problems with the aircraft. The mechanics correct the problems, document their repairs on the form, and then pilots review the gripe sheets before the next flight. Never let it be said that ground crews lack a sense of humor. Here are some actual maintenance complaints submitted by UPS pilots (marked with a P) and the solutions recorded (marked with an S) by maintenance engineers. By the way, UPS is the only major airline that has never, ever, had an accident. P: Left inside main tire almost needs replacement. S: Almost replaced left inside main tire. P: Test flight OK, except auto-land very rough. S: Auto-land not installed on this aircraft. P: Something loose in cockpit. S: Something tightened in cockpit. P: Dead bugs on windshield. S: Live bugs on back-order. P: Autopilot in altitude-hold mode produces a 200-feet-per-minute descent. S: Cannot reproduce problem on ground. P: Evidence of leak on right main landing gear. S: Evidence removed. P: DME volume unbelievably loud. S: DME volume set to more believable level. P: Friction locks cause throttle levers to stick. S: That's what friction locks are for. P: IFF inoperative in OFF mode. S: IFF is always inoperative in OFF mode. P: Suspected crack in windshield. S: Suspect you're right. P: Number 3 engine missing. S: Engine found on right wing after brief search. P: Aircraft handles funny. (I love this one!) S: Aircraft warned to straighten up, fly right and be serious. P: Target radar hums. S: Reprogrammed target radar with lyrics.. P: Mouse in cockpit. S: Cat installed. And the best one for last P: Noise coming from under instrument panel. Sounds like a midget pounding on something with a hammer. S: Took hammer away from the midget. ^ I didn't think Todd worked for UPS, and it sucks they took his hammer.
  3. Damn Dude that sucks. Sorry to hear, and hope everything works out for you. You'll have another one or something else in a few years.
  4. Troll?? I'll take an XD or and M&P over a Glock any day.
  5. Well she likes the feel of the 709, so now my concern becomes recoil. I've called around to a few ranges trying to find one to rent. I'll have to call a few more places and see if I can find one.
  6. How is the recoil compared to an M&P 9c or an XD SC .40? It's for the wife and she didn't like the "kick" from my xd, but was good with the M&P.
  7. Yeah, mine shouldn't be hard to figure out.
  8. I've shot the Kahr, it's not bad. Never shot the Kel-Tec but two of my friends have them. The small guns are not range guns, they are carry guns, they are not made to put 200 round a week every week. Well unless you have Burger King hands. She won't go to the range that often anyway.
  9. Dude the cupcakes are setting on my kitchen table come get 1. And bring $500 bucks with you for the M&P. I have change...
  10. She wants a Taurus 709 Slim. Although Ruger has a new single stack coming out on 2/1/11, that looks nice.
  11. Is it magical??? Does it have + wife faction, or + to save Vs bike accidents? oh maybe pregnancy protection +2?
  12. Her and her lawyer need to be held under water in that exact same fountain until they stop kicking. What a waste of air.....
  13. 1 Hour and 43 minutes for me...haha I guess there are some benefits to being fat...
  14. They removed all flags from the school, I believe they had issues between the American kids and the mexican kids back in May. So they removed all flags. Which is why I believe the the school made such a big deal out of it. However, you are in the U.S. Old Glory is the only flag that should be on the flag pole. If you want to fly another countries flag, with exception to the Olympics, move your ass back to that country.
  15. Meanie

    Wow!!

    My thoughts exactly....
  16. I'd be down, I need to have a pull or 2 done anyway. I think i am running a bit rich.
  17. Yeah, thanks for the invite. That place has some pretty good food and its not that expensive.
  18. Welcome Chief, I also had your class last year.I'm still thinking about doing the tactical class.
  19. ahh nope, like a tard I forgot to save it in my phone.
  20. I still may show up for this. I'll let you know tomorrow.
  21. If you are interested in the class on May 7th, send me your name and phone number. When it gets closer to the date I'll need to collect half of the class cost and send it to Tim. The other half you will pay after the class is completed.
  22. You do know you can take the class early and wait until you hit 21 to get your license. One of the guys I went with when I did mine said he wanted to bring his 20 year old son but didn't think he was able to. The instructor said he could have come and got his license when he turned 21. I'd call and check on it but I'm pretty sure you can do it early and then get your license after wards.
  23. You'd have to call Tim and ask him, but I am positive he is still doing the classes and I believe the price is still the same. My wife, her parents, and a few of my friends are going to Tim May 7th for the CCW class. If you want to wait that long I can add you to the list. I am still waiting to hear back from Tim to make sure he can use the range that day. It's an outdoor range and they want to do the class when it is a little warmer outside. I believe he requires at least 10 people to do a class, or you can add in to one of the currently scheduled classes if he has room. Best to call him.
