  1. We really should get a bottled water cooler, instead of buying the small bottles.

I have no problem with most city water, but our well water is terrible! When I change out the pre-filter for the softener, it's always BLACK! And without the softener, the water is orange! YUCK!

That is nasty... City water may look better, but it sure don't taste any better then your well water...

The start up cost for the bottle water cooler is not too bad. I paid $150 for the cooler and $15 for the bottle, but it's mine to keep. There are companies that deliver it, but you have to get a certain amount a month and it can get costly but it all depends on how much you drink I guess.

  2. I tried a one of the Brita filters that goes on the faucet, and it didn't work very well. I'm thinking about getting a RO unit.

I don't drink tap water just cause it's nasty. We do bottled water and we have one of those water machines. It's like 2 dollars to refill 5 gallons at Kroger.

  3. Reebok has always been my first choice of shoe, but not all are comfortable. I had a pair of old Iversons that were simply amazing! They have air pockets in the sole and the air moves front to back as you walk. Best shoes ever! Bad, might look into getting a pair for basketball. They are the ones that were white with blue or red trim. I'll have to get a picture later. They still go for a pricey amount for even being an older pair. I think the Zig's will be in my purchase list for my next shoes.

  4. Yeah, I have AT&T and their service sucks! I never had any issues with Verizon, but I do love the iPhone, sorry. I thought about going to the Windows phone. Those things look pretty sweet. Not sure though since the OS is new. I love the iPhone, but everything I do is on PC so Windows will probably suit me better, not sure though. Plus, I have had the iPhone for the last two years, and I like change.

  5. Yeah, I just picked up my first two handguns this past year, 2010. I now have my CHL and carry when I feel comfortable doing it. I actually carried all the way to Florida. If you want to learn more, take the CHL class. I learned quite a bit when taking it. A lot of these questions you are asking are talked about.

Question about the "plain view". I don't think it has to be in plain view anymore, correct?

  6. Smart choice... Having your own house and being responsible if things brake, yeah, it cost. I know as a guy who wants what he wants when he wants it, it is hard to wait. I'm one of those guys. I have learned over the years of doing that, that it is not worth it but at the time it seems like it. I did that with the last gun I bought. I almost went home with one that was a grreat gun but not the one I really wanted. I said no and waited. Ended up getting the one I wanted for $150 cheaper....

  7. About the best advise you could give. If it is just a bar skip the bike night, but if they have good food, music and even pool tables it could work.

    Agreed...

I don't go to any bike night because they are boring. Good food and pool tables would get me there. I did go to QS&L one night to check out the bikes and eat, but that was plenty for me for the year. I don't drink so bars don't attract me in the first place.

  8. Has anyone seen this broad when she was in high school? I saw some show on MTV about when they were 17 or something like that and she was on it. I think she's wacked out but she was a cheerleader and pretty good looking. Then again, she wasn't talking in the pictures...

  9. I've been throwing the idea around to do the same thing! Pics are required as build is in progress like Max said. I need ideas if I do get one.

What are some good sites to get parts for the conversion? I haven't looked at all but have been looking at pictures of them converted.

  10. r u kidding me? u can't fish from a jet thing or take aerial pictures?

OK, so not completely pointless, just not worth it. There is another single flying thing that is sweeter then that. I like the jetlev just because it is cool, but I can see it getting old. It is for play purposes not fishing by any means. Unless you plan on swooping down like a seagull and catching fish in the mouth.

  11. that is one thing that I could never sell. My dad has had it for 35 years
i nearly shit myself. Its not mine mine until hes too old to drive it but nonetheless I get to use it to take to shows and what not, which I'm sure I'll rarely do without him

Dude! Don't even let the thought of selling this thing come to mind. My dad gave me the keys to his '68 Mustang on my 16th birthday. It took a year to restore it and I drove it for a while but ended up selling it cause I needed a more reliable car for work. I cried when I saw it gone out of the drive way. Regret that decision pretty much everyday of my life! Will get one some day to fix up again. Maybe pass it down to my kids one day.
