  1. I decided to get the bike out for the first time since getting back from the Gap trip and in no less than 20 mins I had 2 cars pull out in front of me, 1 try to merge into me and another way over the double yellow in a blind curve. At that point I just turned around and went back home before I ran out of close call luck
  2. hell yes think I might pick up a couple things for the coming BBQ's I'm having
  3. interesting, I'm gonna have to go sit on one and see then
  4. http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/news/4981933/Woman-kills-husband-and-herself.html Make sure to note the location where this took place
  5. if the weather clears up and the roads dry up I'm thinking of leaving work early and going for an easy cruise like ride. My rear tire is almost shot so nothing too fun for me
  6. have you ever rented an apartment or home?
  7. I'm curious when you say more comfortable than the VFR in what way? I love these things and if I hadn't dumped a ton of money into the VFR over the winter I'd be a lot more tempted to move it and pick up something newer and this is on the short list
  8. I suppose on a lighter bike with a lighter rider 10k could be doable. but you'd really have to granny ride the thing evenly on all sides. I'll be interested to see when I get my new set of pr2's if with my newly tuned suspension if I get more miles out of them
  9. what kind of tires are they? I've got just over 6k on my PR2's and I consider that pretty damn good. The rear needs replaced for any agressive riding but can stand some more commuting miles just fine
  10. if anyone wants to buy it, its for sale
  11. yup exactly. My fiance is leasing her current car she got in Feb and is starting to freak because she is starting to rack up miles with her new job and I was like just stay calm because either you lease another and they drop the overage or we buy it out which I already have a good idea what the buy out will be with estimated mileage and its not a total screw job either
  12. What in the hell tires do you have that are 80% and still 7-10k miles on them left?!?!
  13. This is my excuse to get rid of it. I've hated this thing since the day we moved in for "first world problem" reasons. Plus I'd like to do it while it fits in the budget as opposed to surprise motherfucker it's broke and so are you
  14. I'm just shy of 12k and my chain doesn't seem like it'll need replaced anytime soon (unless Pauly teaches me otherwise)
  15. No I meant Labor Day only cause that's when the furniture will be paid off and can put that money on paying for the appliances
  16. Shed would be smaller and 3x the costPlus I live in a yuppie hood w with an HoA
  17. So long as whatever option lasts me 4-6 more years then I'll be happy. At that point, if all goes as planned this house will be up for sale for an upgrade!
  18. alrighty I'm hoping to get to the 2nd step before I leave for vacation mid July and found the route I'm going to take: Lowe's has Tuftex DeckDrain system that I'm going to use in order to divert the water: http://www.lowes.com/Search=tuftex?storeId=10151&langId=-1&catalogId=10051&N=0&newSearch=true&Ntt=tuftex#! As far as what I'm going to do for the sides, I had planned on wood lattice however I found Lowe's has a vinyl one that might match my deck close enough to make me happy. For as much lattice as I'll need to put up, the price difference might drive me back to the wood and just staining it which the cheap side of my brain is saying. The lazy side says pay up front for the vinyl and not worry about having the pain of staining the lattice in the future
  19. Thanks for the info guys! I don't have any interest or real need for it. I don't do any wood working projects and if I did need to use a table saw, we have one here at my work I have access to. Just gonna sell it to help fund the rest of my deck project!
  20. I acquired this table saw and its a 220v hook up in which I don't have so I don't really have the space to have this hanging around. I'm not totally sure of its value so figured I'd enlist in all your help! All I know about it is that its 30+ years old, runs like a champ (im told) and is a Sears Roebuck unit
  21. although its not on a super sport so I don't know if it will work, I always just unzip the side pockets of my jackets and my fiance grabs inside those when she isn't using the passenger grab handles
  22. yea id like to be able to start looking at my schedule to figure out which day I can make when I win a spot
