  1. im pretty sure im gonna get the stands off bruised...money is tight so 50 for both is a bomb deal...ill post up if it doesnt happen though and maybe more people can respond then or say somethin anyway for bad and bad hit up ousley, he's got rear stand and pegs for 30 he told me http://www.ohio-riders.com/member.php?u=1371
  2. im tryin to get a jump-start on the shit i need to garage the bike through winter...if anyone had front and rear stands for a good deal let me know, if i cant get a deal off someone here ill just probably go get the bvp stands at iron pony, i think they run 50 for the rear and 80 for the front
  3. well the heater in the garage is connected to the thermostat for the family room, and the heat is turned low/off at night so the garage will constantly be warming and cooling so moisture/condensation will be a issue for me unfortunately...
  4. yea i know...i just figured many ppl have been thru the storing process and could give me a few pointers...i would have never thought to spray wd40 into my muffler to prevent rust or even plug the end to keep bugs and shit out so already this thread has been worth starting
  5. haha bummer...does anyone else have extra stands for sale?
  6. you dont have any of those other stands better than bvp layin around you wanta get rid of for cheap do ya?
  7. i have "slo ryde" as my plate after one of my favorite sublime songs (yea 'slow ride' was taken)...plus its a manual 4 banger so it fits anyway
  8. well i want something cheap that'll keep for at least 2 years mainly just thru the winter..i havent began lookin at stands in person but i can gauge what will last for a while pretty good...i was more-or-less lookin for brands to look into though so thanks, ill definately check them out
  9. hahaha...well i fuck with wiring all day at work...i would SO rather pay around 30 bucks out the door for the battery tender jr
  10. awesome thanks yea the battery tender jr i can pretty much get anywhere...roush is like 20 min from me its the stands that are goin to hit me anywhere but the IP im sure
  11. lol damn i posted this about 6 hours ago and already 4 pages of replies....this is probably the best forum im a member of, thank you guys a lot. unfortunately the last 3 pages have been arguments over fuel treatment...well ill settle this, i plan on using it. if i notice any problems at all, next year i wont. that simple. so back to the thread topic...i never thought to put a little spritz of wd40 inside and cover my exhaust which is a great idea since the temp in winter flexes so much and i get a lot of spiders and other bugs around here so ill definately be doing that, i plan to get some cheap ass adjustable stands because if a buddy with a kawi needs to use them for some reason im a sharing type of person. but onto this trickle charger issue...is the battery tender jr any good? anyone have a cheap/better alternative (under $75) ? any other major/minor things you guys have picked up on that would make the storing/starting after storing flow better? seriously thanks again all of you guys, its great to get so many responses in such a short amount of time....money is tight for me so i plan to start getting whatever i can afford starting now before its too late...also if anyone has any of these things (stands, trickle chargers, etc.) that im going to need for sale send me a pm...otherwise im probably just going to keep makin runs to iron pony
  12. ok so this is going to be my first time preping a bike for winter...i already know front and rear stands are a must...but i was hoping some of you guys could give me suggestions on things i need and procedures on how to do them...while keeping it easy on my wallet...ive heard fuel treatment is a must, but i dont know what a good brand is. ive also been looking at trickle chargers but dont know which one is the best. from what ive read the battery tender jr. is great for the money (around 26 bucks). anything else im missing?
  13. lol i thought you guys said 82 was up ahead right before i passed that car....but yea when i passed that car i went by 1 cop who just kept going, and just minutes later i passed a second cop who slammed his brakes as i went by, it looked like he had made a complete stop after i passed him so i just punched it. i ended up takin riverview till it actually dead ended, hung a left and poped out by 77. im not too familiar with those back roads so i wasnt worried about 82 i just wanted to get out of the area. i just assumed i had passed it after the second cop. i only got a few pics but ill post them in a day or two, i havent looked at them but hope i got at least 1 or 2 good ones, and im gonna wait to make any definite plans for next weekend till it gets closer, this weather is too unpredictable to plan a week ahead but ill heep you posted
  14. where was that dude? he started this thread and never showed... but anyway. i swear ive been that route once before so i wasnt familiar with it but when we ended up in peninsula i knew i had. im going to try to get out again this weekend but ill start a thread when i know for sure. bad you and your buddies did alright. learn at your own pace. and sorry if i didnt warn you to take the turn slow and thats what got you in trouble, just glad we all got back in the shape we left. and also this is kinda funny...when we all split up and i was on my way home i had a cop uturn after me on ridgewood just before i hit 82 cause i was goin bout 75 thru a curve....i had to shoot past 82 to get away from him but i hit pleasant valley in independence and thats kinda by my girls place so i just went there, it all worked out. good ride and no tickets
  15. yea im leavin in like 10 min, should take me bout 20 min to get there if i can cut off the grandma's in minivans
  16. i only spend 3 hours working the proper shading but here's my result i can make custom designs for anyone just send me a pm...charge is $200 for print on small plain white hanes and $250 for any other color/size.

    Bought it!!!

congrads..ive always loved 1911's and i gotta say the two-tone with wood grip is a awesome combo
  18. also just tonight i came across a fantastic sierra nevada bomber "estate"...they run about 10 bucks a bomber, if your lucky enough to find it i would recommend buying as many as your can carry because they wont be around for long...this one ranks up there with the hardcore ipa and founders double trouble for me
  19. so ive been patrolling the shelves and im glad to say ive come across quite a few good beers new to the shelves for this season, two of which i can say are worth picking up, if your lucky enough to find them, the first is easier to find, its dogfish-head's pumpkin ale, goin about 8-9 bucks a 4 pack, and the better and harder to find would be southern tier's pumKING ale, goin about 8-9 bucks per bomber (1 pint bottle). ive probably had over 8 or 9 of these pumpkin brews and all but these 2 have been crap so just wanted to pass the info to anyone who has a decent beer pallet
  20. lol where r there any roads in sville worth ridin? unless ur talkin bout patrolling the mall for hotties....i dont see this possible
