I happen to know people who've run motards at Mid-O. Even the Husky 610 pegs the limiter looong before turn 7. Yes, you can re-gear a bike to have a higher top end, but this isn't nearly as effective on a supermoto that depends on low end grunt. The MX based bikes do not have a wide ratio tranny either. Yes, the XR's will be pretty well worked over I imagine.
