I don't understand why there's so much anger over more racing. Who gives a shit if it's favoritism? If the AMA doesn't get more asses in the seats there won't be an American racing series much longer.

This reminds me of 2 things that are very important for your last ride of the season and any time you get your bike out during the off season: 1: Don't run the bike unless it's going to get up to running temperature. If you do, water vapor from the exhaust can condense and puddle in the exhaust system, causing rust. A hot bike's exhaust will evaporate this water. 2: It takes 15 minutes of riding not idling to recharge the energy used to start a bike. So if you want to maintain your battery by running the bike, you better be planning on riding it. Leaving it sit for 3 months straight is better for the battery than just starting it for a couple minutes a week.

Just never uses seafoam in a gas tank that isn't sealed. Alcohol attracts water from the air inside the tank and will make your fuel worse.

I've seen more bikes with gummed up carbs that used stabil than those that did nothing. I don't bother winterizing and it has worked for me with 100% success for 5 years now.

I don't understand what the problem is. More motorcycles, more variety, more racing. These are the XR1200s. A whole different animal than those 883's. I bet Honda is the one company that said no way to the 450 class. Unless you've ridden an XR1200, I'd kindly ask you to STFU.
