Looks like a heck of an event! I really hope to be able to participate in the next one. One thing that may help would be if you designated a spot with good lighting for every competitor to have at least one photo taken, it would be easier for us bystanders to really compare the bikes. This also helps ensure you've got some quality pictures for promo work down the line.

I'm looking at it like this: For $25 I get: A fun GPS track to follow at a later date, an "easy" intro to enduro timing without dealing with ohio mud, it's an event I can do without putting knobbies back on, and lunch is provided. But if I don't find a babysitter, I'll be missin it anyway

Anybody who skips the Indy Mile Flat track race on saturday night is really missing out. It's the best racing you'll see all weekend.

Jets are pretty cheap, I'd just search for the best recommended jetting for that bike and just buy the set of jets.

Don't hold your breath. Yes, you're right, there have been some major advances in 2 stroke technology, but the industry at large has moved on. After this season, there won't be any more ring dingers in any major racing series.

That's a dealership price. I doubt they could get $2500 unless a buyer wanted that EXACT bike and had to have it. I sold my 2003 SV in 2009 for $3500 and it had just about every desirable accessory and mod you could do. They're great bikes but you just have to find the right buyer.

Yeah, he's probably about double on the price for that bike.
