I will update my situation as it solidifies, but I'm moving back to Columbus from Nashville for a variety of reasons. One being friends and family. I have a kid now and I can work from anywhere. I want her to grow up with my friends kids etc. Im not going to have a problem selling my house, I will have a problem buying a house in Columbus haha. My current next door neighbor sold for OVER her ask of $1.1m in 2 days.... I suspect the same will happen with my house since its much nicer and better layout. My issue is im basically throwing everything at a wall in Columbus and not seeing much. Could be a timing issue and just need to wait it out for movie inventory as it gets warmer, which is fine. Looking for anything from $400k-$1m in the Westerville, lewis center galena area in a neighborhood.

2 people charged with firearms charges, mind you that were found in their cars...NOT in the capitol. any other charge was from a makeshift weapon. how many people were there protesting? 100,000+? and 2 "armed" with guns in their cars? hardly an armed insurrection.

It’s amazing that all these msm narratives are falling apart about the Jan 6 protest. They took America for an emotionally charged rollercoaster ride. Now they are quietly correcting and then not posting the corrections in plain sight. Like how they mentioned the officer because was bludgeoned to death with a fire extinguisher........which was not true. Also, how many guns were used in the “insurrection” by protestors? The answer is 0. But yet we were told it was an armed insurrection. Not a single person charged or accused of having a gun. The “weapons” they list are a baton, flagpoles, basically anything that can be used as weapon (trashcan). We won’t be able to hold these entities accountable for the shit they spread unless the left sees the plank in their eye.

the dems were effective at mobilizing minority communities to come out and vote for an old, senile, white, racists for president. I would imagine if they cared about gun laws and murder rates they could do something to mobilize their communities. Can they have a wall to wall PR campaign with Beyonce and Jay Z, to make gun violence not cool anymore in the communities that commit it the most. Then we can talk about the relatively small percentage of gun violence in regards to mass shootings etc. Those are the hot button topics because they play out in the communities your average American is in. it makes us feel unsafe. But as long as it happens in the minority communities, it can be overlooked? It would be helpful if they actually tracked that information, but I suspect they dont because those murder rates would tell a story that wouldn't be conducive to changing laws for the majority of America...

bingo - remove those communities from the equation and the conversation fall apart. People in south Dakota aren't shooting up their neighborhoods every night. Thats reserved for parts of Chicago, DC, LA, etc within specific groups. I know thats uncomfortable for people to realize, but im not giving an inch so that the bullshit can continue in those cities while I have to give up my rights. Fix that shit with your laws in those cities, show everyone that it works, then we can have a conversation about the law abiding gun owner in America.

This is about the standard set by the left or right when it comes to whats acceptable and what is focused on. The right tried really hard to get people to care about swalwell and his dinky getting rode by a Chinese spy, but the left doesnt care. They wanted no part in that microscope being on them. Instead I have to sit here and listen to you tell me I need to be worried about the NRA having a spy in their midst?
