If you watched CNN the last 11 months you would have seen a giant graphic with a COVID death and case counts that updated daily, sometimes hourly. That was on their live broadcast, no matter what anchor was on. You didn’t have to search for it on the website. It was right in your face whether it was info you wanted to see or not. That is no longer there 24/7. Why don’t they need it there any longer? Why change it? Suck my ass I don’t give a shit if a trans wants to serve our country. Go for it. I don’t give a shit if they put black people on money. Sure I’ll spend it the same! What I’m pointing out is they are prioritizing bullshit and killing American jobs at the same time when they cried for months about people dying left and right from covid. Now they have a chance to make a difference and it’s feels as sloppy as Trumps approach. Don’t get me started on the whole impeachment thing. Pelosi has a boner for this guy. He isn’t going to be convicted and when he is acquitted a second time it will only feed the crazy base that wants him to run again. Don’t worry, we can still be friends, but I’m not about to act like Biden and Harris are going to change the world, cause they won’t. I think what the last 4 years+ have shown is that we have an unhealthy view of what government should be doing for us. Trump was the perfect storm to implode it.

I hope you are right! I will revisit this post in a few years and if you are right, I’ll happily say so. Instead of grants, I wish they would just let the free market decide what people want to do instead of forcing businesses to close. Some companies in my business have and will continue to permaclose. That feels super invasive when you’ve put 10+ years into a business to have to all wiped away in 10 months because politicians heads are up their asses.

We have never had this progressive of a climate in regards to guns..ever. So yes, it’s concerning if you hold that issue high on your list. I’m not losing my shit as you seem to think, but I’m not holding my breath. I have prepared accordingly. They are already introducing legislation that would ban certain cartridges and guns. I never rallied for the stimulus, but the if there is going to be any grants or help extended forgivable or non forgivable it needs to go to areas that were most hit. The airline industry and almost every other industry is still able to operate, but people are CHOOSING to not travel. It’s completely different than my business. I CANT operate a touring business right now. The local and federal governments won’t let me. If they are banning certain businesses from operating in a free market and taking away people’s choice to attend a show or not, they need to make up for it in some way. I have no choice in it. So yes, I will take a grant to keep people on payroll. That’s not a hand out. Do you own a business? If so, put yourself in my shoes. You, the fans, touring crew, venues etc WANT to roll out measure to make it safe, but the government WONT let us. That’s fucking wrong. You know it and anyone else that owns a business that people rely on for income would be livid for being forced to sit on your ass for 10 months while these fucking asshats give pork and payouts to bullshit.
