  1. Buying tire for what? Pretty hard to mount them on nothing.... Spam away
  2. Picked me up an 07 FZ6 for the street. I knew I wouldn't last long with a track only bike and broke down pretty fast. I have only rode it a short bit so far but it is nice. A bit different than the CBR but a good more comfortable difference. Power seems pretty good and it seems to handle good. This thing is beautiful and doesn't have a mark on the thing, still looks brand new.
  3. Are pocket bikes even street legal?
  4. He may have body guards but I bet his whole family doesn't. Let one of them "just be the victim" and see what his thoughts are. How do you walk away with your life if the perp has every intention of leaving no witness?
  5. I have been considering rigging up my integrated tail light on top of the tail and buying some mirrors with built in signals. I'd have to cut the front fairing to mount the mirrors. The only thing I would need is some type of headlight to be legal. My bike still has a good plate and insurance since I switched it over at the end of last season.
  6. Pressure of the outlet popped the fitting off. With a clamp or glued on, it can come right off. It is just a formed hard rubber fitting
  7. Water heater is good, sump pump is good, water is mostly gone. I am thinking that this water slowly creeped its way into the basement over the past few weeks. I did find out that the outlet of the pump blew the pipe adapter off of the end of it. I don't know if there was a pipe clamp on there to begin with but there wasn't anything there. So a 99 cent hose clamp cost me a few hundred dollars atleast
  8. Well the basement is pumping out right now. I looked at all the plumbing through the basement and can't find anything that looks like it has been wet or been dripping. I will have to let the water finish pumping out which might take a while since its probably about 800 gallons of water. Now I just wish I knew where the hell the source of the water is. It didn't appear to really be filling up any more this morning. If the water doesn't come back and the hot water heater is ok, then I don't know what the hell to think.
  9. It ties into a storm drain. We have separate storm and sewer
  10. Sump is back in the corner. You can see the black pvc pipe that runs horizontal, that is the outlet of the sump pump that feeds the tiling system outside. The crawl is about 2 1/2ft below ground level
  11. The sump pump is definitely running but I'm not sure if it is actually pumping anywhere. I shut the pump off on the circuit breaker and you could see that it quit running. I wonder if somehow the outlet somewhere is plugged between the house and the sewer? It doesn't appear to be rising any further than where it is at. It runs up through the top of the foundation and then runs into the ground. All of my drains on my house are tiled to the storm drain system.
  12. I don't think this is the issue as the main water supply is coming from the east side of the house and has to go through the crawl space first which is bone done dry
  13. The hose valve is off, the crawl space where all the water comes into the hose is dry, no pipes are leaking in my basement anywhere. Who knows, maybe the water heater let go or something and that is where the water came from.
  14. I go to get in the shower this morning and realize that I have no hot water. I try the sink and the same thing. I head down to the basement and open the door to find about a foot of water sitting down there. I know I had hot water at about midnight last night so either it wasn't high enough to put out the pilot at that point or this all happened between midnight and 7. I am not sure where the water is coming from as I don't see any pipes leaking anywhere. I shut off all the power down there but shutoff and reset the sump pump power. The outlet is way up on the wall so no where even close to coming in contact with the water. I go check and it appears that the pump is at least running but the water isn't dropping. Maybe the outlet connection outside froze last night? This is the first time in the three years that I have been here that I have had an issue. The house/pump is only 10 years old. Should I go rent a pump to start out with and get all of the water out of the basement? The water is freezing cold so it is hard to walk around in it down there. I can't even get to the pump without laying down on the floor which isn't happening. I don't want to run out and just buy a new pump. I am also curious as to where all of the water may have come from, because that seems like a lot of ground water to seep in that fast. I haven't been down there for a few weeks so I guess it's possible that some water may have been down there but like I said this has never been an issue. Something would have had to happen over the night to push it up high enough to kill the pilot out on the water heater. Any help/advice is appreciated
  15. If they find your secret compartment then its not secretive enough
  16. Unless there is something MAJOR missing from this story, this is a hell of a messed up situation. Clerk is getting robbed, one guy is shooting at him and the clerk shoots and kills the second robber and is now being charged with voluntray manslaughter. http://www.toledoblade.com/Courts/2012/02/23/Clerk-indicted-for-killing-man-in-robbery.html
  17. I do have to agree with the paint comment as I have personally worked on and designed equipment for their painting department. Their requirements and money that they spend on their painting systems is quite crazy.
  18. I would be curious to see the revenue/profit from their bikes vs apparel.
  19. This has been discussed here http://www.ohioriders.net/showthread.php?t=86843 It looks like the new owners are putting some money into the track which is always good to see
