  1. If Chris needs/wants it, give it to him. I would only have it as a spare that I would hope not to use but you never know what's going to happen
  2. If you still have that body in May, I will pick it up from you. I won't have cash until then so if you can get rid of it before then go ahead.
  3. I went out and took a picture for you. If look just to the left of the BAS, you can see the little flat that I am referring to. There are two of them and spaced perfectly for the bank angle sensor.
  4. Mine is mounted to the back of the upper fairing stay behind the gauges. It is only zip tied right now but if you have a stock fairing stay, it actually has two flats that can be drilled and tapped
  5. RIP Cancer can hit anybody at any time and that scares the hell out of me sometimes
  6. Feliz Cumpleaños Can I help smash the pinata?
  7. Definitely some good info/advice in here. I have been thinking about some side work I could pick up but not as easy for me and since I am a salaried engineer, I get long hours and no overtime. I have in the past picked up some free lance work which I might look into again. I have a lot of ideas for things that I can design, have laser cut, and sell pretty easy but I just need myself to get to it. I wish I could split gas with other people but I don't know of anyone that lives around this area to pick up and take with me to the track. I am trying to get a couple of guys at work talked into doing some track days. I am spending a good bit of money just getting the bike put together and setup for the track but the experience and knowing the bike that much better is nice. It would have probably been cheaper to just sell my bike and buy an already setup track bike. I haven't done anything crazy financially by charging to credit cards or anything like that so far. The bad thing about motorcycle racing is the lack of payouts but I can understand it to a certain degree. I raced tough trucks a bit and my uncle races modified tough trucks and has dumped a ton of money into his truck but at least there are pretty good payouts for most of the races and entry fees are relatively low.
  8. I'm also thinking about getting a gun, and dealing crack. Being a crack dealer. Not like a mean crack dealer, but like... like a nice one. Kinda friendly like, "hey, what's up guys? Want some crack?"
  9. I have been spending money like it is going out of style lately and it got me wondering how some of you guys pay for everything. It all adds up quick and I don't plan on racking up a bunch of CC debt. It seems like I have been spending every bit of free money on the bike, trailer, or related things to get ready for the season. I am hoping to be able to sell off some of my stock stuff that I have laying around and some other car parts and things that I have laying around out here to help finance all of this. I was once told that the only way to make a small fortune racing was to start out with a large one
  10. I went with two because she said she wouldn't sleep in there with only one lock
  11. So out of 39 people who said they would pay, there are probably only handful or so that actually have
  12. I really would like to go but I'm torn between deals gap or the track that weekend.
  13. Brian is a good guy and so are alll the others at the shop. They will treat you right every time
  14. Too Much! Burning through money like crazy Bought my trailer My new Bike Braided Break Lines for the track bike New Front Stand New Rear stand Girps fork seals Steering Dampner Zeus Fastners Other Misc stuff for the track bike
  15. Haha already had this thought immediately. I plan on locking the door on the outside without the latch in it so that I can't get locked in
  16. Well I did some work on the trailer today. I painted the inside with a light off white color, $5 good oops paint. I also put down some nice indoor/outdoor carpet inside. It looks 10x better than is used to, looks pretty nice now. I also started painting the frame underneath and tongue with just some flat black paint to help prevent rust. Now I need to make a trip down to Lima and pick up some e track to put down inside. There is going to be a 10 ft piece along each wall and then also putting a piece on each side of the floor. I have the old island counter top that came out of my kitchen that I am going to cut to put in the back of the trailer as a work bench. I added a couple barrel locks to the inside of the side door so I could lock it while I am sleeping at night. I have some other plans that I will get to before too long.
  17. Well I have a little over 300 miles on it since I picked it up Tuesday afternoon. I like it quite a bit. It is going to take some time to get used to the seating and feet position but it seems like it will be a good bike for me. It has the power there if you really get on it but it isn't always asking to go fast like the CBR does. The seat is 100x more comfortable than what I am used to. Now I am ready to take off and go to hocking hills and see if it can be comfortable all the way there but yet still be fun in the twisties.
