Can you force fluid backwards?  If the calipers are attached, push the pistons in like you're changing to new pads.

I think I got it...just needed patience... (what's that?)  -  My bench setup is just the MC, a short brake line, and a spare CBR rear caliper in a vise. I just prefer to get fluid moving and confirm the rebuild is good before installing on the bike....

I still hate working with any brake fluid and bleeding.... sometimes its 10 minutes and its good to go, other times its screw with for an hour or more, and not get anywhere.  Bleah!

Got it!  Only 18 days from ordering.  It's a full 1 lb lighter than the JT steel sprocket I'm currently running.

Does anybody know a good place to get a DID 530 ZVM chain?

    Awesome sprocket there dude.....

    - I think Riders Discount, the sponsor here has the best prices on DID chains, I just got one myself,.

A common issue on the triumph daytona's is the charging harness melting at the connectors because of the increased resistance of those shitty quick disconnects. I've had the hardware fail before on my other 675 but it never caught fire.

That is a common issue in the VFR world, heck Honda world too.  The charging system sucks, so the typical fix is to ditch the OEM R/R and goto a Shindengen SH847 or FH020 from Roadstercycle http://roadstercycle.com/

Then wire it direct to the battery. Also ... eliminate the connector R/R to the stator and solder the wires together.

    Cheers

Full Throttle Adrenaline Park in Cincy. I've never been. Didn't one of the indoor? karting places in columbus shut down recently?

Holy shit, that looks fun! I bet the track floor is slick.... This is Cincy?

With the vstream if you know your going to park in the direct sun light just throw a towel over it. Where the screen curves act like a magnify glass and direct a hot spot on the dash(so Ive been told)

I am on 6 or 7 motorcycle forums and from hanging out too many years I have read that the windscreen hot sun magnifying glass thing seems to be a common occurrence on multiple bikes.  I have a burn mark on the dash on my VFR.... gotta remember to bring a carry cloth to throw over on ride stops....

  6. My mother did the same, had heart surgery and a week later, it caused a stroke. She could barely talk, see or walk after that. Very tough going.

I feel for you man, best wishes

  7. I used to screw with my own fork maintenance , but in the last few years, I have gotten lazy,  I just send them to -

Jamie Daughtery at DMr Motorsports - Ft Wayne, Indiana.....   http://daughertymotorsports.com/   ---- Jamie is a Japanese and Ducati suspension guru....

Ship the forks to him, he does the work I want.... I work on other shit on the bike in the mean time, forks come back perfect, I reinstall.... painless and priced reasonable..

Maybe check with Jamie for his input...

  8. Lemme throw out a scenario for spinning......

I am kinda considering buying a bike out west, then riding and visiting family in LA , then riding North to visit friends, family in Vancouver.....and head back east visiting others as I work my way back to Ohio..........

Registration wise, how do I pull it off? Temp tag? Out of state temp tag or?

Because I am so new I don't know of any good places to ride in the area. Can anyone provide good routes and places to go?

    Thanks
