  1. My issue was with a Remington 870 express home defense, purchased 12/09. New out of the box, cleaned and oiled prior to firing. Round 7 and round 25 would not eject spent shell. Then Remington 887, brand new, purchased from a person that won it at Ducks Unlimited raffle. Clean and oil, very first round fired, pulled the forearm rearward to eject spent shell. Could not get the forearm to move forward. Remington ended up mailing me a new bolt, port cover and trigger assembly. I fired about 20 rounds through the it after replacing the parts Remington sent to me. I plan to use this as my turkey gun. So maybe quality has slipped a bit at Remington.
  2. Sorry for your loss....
  3. If I did not get a great deal on my Remington 887, I would have purchased a Benelli. See sig line below.....

  9. This is good that it the store will be near me, but kinda takes away the specialness for the road trip down there. I'll still stop at the location on 250 on my way home from Mid-Ohio.
  10. How does that work with the serial numbers on an "exchanged" firearm? Or does that not matter? Maybe just another entry at the gun shop? SO maybe the write down serial number XX12 sent out for repair but received XX13 in its place? Just curious. I have pics of my firearms and the serial number just in case something happens, (lost or stolen)
