You know what they say...if the deal looks too good to be true, then it probably is. They had a nearly new R1 listed on there for $2800, either it is stolen, totalled, or a scam. No way they would let that go so cheap.

Looks cool...but that seat looks like it would kill your ass after about 10 minutes.

Honestly the paint looks ok from that pic...although pics do tend to hide scratches and blemishes. If he is a GOOD painter then yeah, might as well have it professionally sprayed if you plan on hanging on to the bike for a while. Just don't cheap out and rattle can it or something like that...it will look like ass and chip off like crazy. That is a cool bike, so yeah I think it would be worth it.

If I wasn't working I would be there...count me in for next week though.

Yeah I can't stand irresponsible dog owners. Glad the situation worked out ok for you and hopefully the dogs find some new owners to love them like they should be loved. Pitbulls are one of the most misunderstood and abused dogs...and they have a horrible reputation due to a small minority of shitty owners (cough**cough** Michael Vick) and asshole dog fighters. 99% of all of the Pits I have ever been around are big softies..and as a breed I would be far more worried about a Rott, Doberman, or the like more than any pitbull. I hate how you see so many abused and neglected pitbulls coming out of urban areas like Columbus ending up in shelters and being put down. Product of the environment I guess...take that how you will.

I always try to drive in the middle lane on 270 just because I can't tell you how many times I have about been smashed by someone trying to merge and not paying attention to the flow of traffic. The drivers around here are terrible, I despise riding my bike on 270/670/315 and avoid those highways at all cost. I don't care if it adds 20 minutes to my commute, I won't ride with those idiots unless I absolutely have to.

See there is the silver lining. You will start noticing all kinds of great things now...like your stuff will be exactly where you left it, your wallet will suddenly seem thicker and more full of $$$, you will have all kinds of time to go riding, no more sharing the TV remote, etc..etc..etc.

Nothing wrong with a lil' crazy now and then. Keeps it interesting.

Yeah I am sure most of us have been there (or in a similar situation) at one time or another. Nothing we can say will make it easier, just know there are lots of other great girls out there...

I also agree with the guy recommending the GSXR 750 if you want a pure Japanese sportbike...it doesn't get much better than that.

I also love the 848 evo in the flat black color scheme, one of the sexiest bikes ever IMO.

If you want a bike to drag get a big bore bike (ZX14, Hayabusa, CBR XX, etc..) just don't do something stupid and kill yourself. If you want a good all around comfortable bike look at something more along the lines of a Z1000, Z750s (I love mine), FZ1, VFR, etc.
