  1. I have a funky, period correct Tracy fairing I took off mine if you are interested. See what your VIN is, this is Suzukis first 4 stroke motorcycle. Mine is 0069. http://thegsresources.com/ ....Great model specific website, everything you need to know about your GS is there. They tried to make a four stroke back in the fifties, but no one counts that. The GS was released in other countries in 76, but waited until 77 to bring it out in the US.
  2. I run an MS362. It is a beast power wise, but very heavy.
  3. I'm not into the group ride thing, but I could be a final sweep in my truck/trailer with some tools, gas, tie-downs, cooler full of water, basic first aid kit.......you get the idea. I would really be bringing up the far rear, but should something happen the rest of the group could move on knowing help was not too far behind. Just a thought.
  4. It started going off the rails when you guys started being nice. I rescind my original comment. I would have thought you sharks would have smelled blood in the water with the "Let's get rowdy" comment.
  5. He was a good guy. I was the Cycra Product Manager for a couple of the large distributors and he was my contact. Always a smile on his face. The news reports are inaccurate in saying he was not wearing a helmet. I spoke to his family last night at the visitation and they said the police have changed their assessment of the accident and now say he was wearing a helmet, but it became dislodged in the accident. Read into that what you will, but I assume it was very bad. I know some people that have ridden with him and say he was a very good rider. Deer are so unpredictable, be careful out there.

  7. The Schuberth people were doing demos at Iron Pony during the Victory event. They said Iron Pony has the largest "on hand" selection of Schuberths in the US.
  8. No worries, I have a bunch, but you can never have too many.
  9. Iron Pony has the Conti Motion set for $158. Great tire for the money. Support a local company that is an OR sponsor!
  10. 2nd in line if Flounder changes his mind.
  11. I've known Brad for many years, he is a good guy. The helmet factory that makes his helmets is the largest bicycle helmet factory in the world. They are probably in the top 5 motorcycle helmet producers & make many many famous brands of motorcycle & bicycle helmets. It is a good factory, I have been there about 30 times. The technology in their EPS is legit & tests worlds better than anything else out there. Many of the bicycle helmet manufacturers are pushing product development (their market is much larger than motorcycle) some of this technology is starting to make its way into motorcycle helmets. I know Iron Pony caries the range of Kali helmets.
  12. My dad had his in our basement. It is one of the bigger Liberty models. It was just against the wall in the "rec" room. I moved it using pry bars and about 10 pieces of conduit....."pyramids style" into one of the other rooms.
