Do you still have to buy the Nike+ thing that goes in your shoe? Chip/sensor or what ever its called. I used to have a pair of Nike+ Shox and there was a compartment in the shoe for it. Nevermind. I looked up the app.
I use Endomondo app. It gives you your pace, avg. pace, distance, maps your run, keeps a history of your runs and tells you your mile split times as you run. Does everything i need for the right price.....Free.
Doing alittle thread grave diggin here.... So after a couple failed attempts at C25K or podrunners. The later is what im doing again. I think im sticking with it this time. Well i know im going to this time. At the begining of the year i was going to the Y off and on for a few months but got tired of fighting the crowd for an empty treadmill. Or watching people walk on the running treadmills while there are open walking treadmills open:nono:. Seemmed like that place was always packed. So 5 weeks ago i said F the Y and hit the bike trail and have made it a point to get out every other day. Even the week i was sick and the day it was raining i forced myself out there. Didnt want another excuse to quit. So here i am on week 5 day 3 actually looking forward to the days i go run. Wednesday while i was out on the last leg of the run i was starting to suck wind. Then i get passed by a older lady that was probally almost twice my age. She had to be aleast 60. That was enough for me to man up and finish without stopping. Anyone else stay with it or fall off the wagon like myself since this thread died?
If you want bang for your buck find a fox body mustang. For what your wanting to spend you can find a clean car with go fast parts and still reliable. The cars and parts are a dime a dozen.
I made this when i was building my 73 Honda. It was nice to use if your bike is totally stripped down to the frame. I could spin it around and easily push the whole bike into the corner when i wasnt working on it. Here is a pic with a frame i built for a different bike on it. I still need a bike lift for when i just want to service the bike.
Sounds good but i dont know when the next time i will be around Lebanon. Slabbin it down there doesnt seem worth it and i dont know when im going to run the Dayton route again on the bike. If you want throw them in a plastic bag and shuck'em in the top of a closet out of the way. Im sure i will ride down there again sometime this year but it definatley wont be for a couple weeks. Or you can toss'em if you want. It wont hurt my feelings.
Would they fit the EXO700? I have a large helmet so i would assume they would be a bit smaller giving my cheeks a bit more room. I have though about getting different pads but dont want the helmet to be to loose either. So if they would work and they are free why not give em a try.
I dont remember what its like at a regular race event but i though it was odd the amount of people they allow in the staging lane up to the track. I mean you had to weave thru kids on bicycles, small children walking across the path and just general spectators. You would think there would be some type of crosswalk and a sidewalk for people to walk down. A couple times i had to give people the ol "vroom vroom". Make a hole bitches im coming thru. Even at the end of the track after you turn around a couple times someone would be walking in the road back to the pits. Seems like an accident waiting to happen. Or happen again.
I dont know if any of you that were there last friday noticed the scuffle that was brewing behind the bleachers. Chest bumping and pushing till the Sheriff stepped in. It blows my mind how some people dont grow out of the "I'm gonna kick this motherfuckers ass right now" over some dumbshit. I dont know what started it but surely it wasnt enough to be willing to throw down right infront of the Deputy. On a side note KilKare is not a posted CPZ.
Not on a bike but i have fallen asleep in my car. Too tired to drive while going down the interstate and battling trying to stay awake for probally a half hour or better i decided to get off on the next exit. Thats when it happened. I start to head up the exit ramp and the next thing i remember is my chin touching my chest and i look up at stopped traffic at the light at the end of the ramp. I slammed the breaks and went skidding by the stopped traffic on the left shoulder. Didnt hit anyone and stopped before the intersection. That is scary enough in a car. I can only imagine on a bike.
I just recently replaced the points and condenser on my boat. Super easy to do and its cheap. My boat ran before i done this just not as well as i thought it should. After changing them it was night and day difference. Your points definatley need routine maintenance. At the very least set your point gap. Being that your unsure of the age of the parts i would just replace both of them and set your points to factory spec.
If i can talk my wife into not turning 30 that weekend i would like to be there. I see myself getting alot of dishes and laundry done between now and then.
