  1. Being that i would enter through the front door like most people i dont care what is/isnt posted on the back door.
  2. Must just be yours. I did not notice a sign on the one in Troy that i was at Friday night.
  3. A little before midnite last night my power went out and is still out. Damn Mayan's might be on to something.......
  4. 9 months of heavy bombing after the B-29 was introduced. "The Operation Meetinghouse firebombing of Tokyo on the night of 9/10 March 1945 was the single deadliest air raid of World War II;[12] greater than Dresden,[13] Hiroshima, or Nagasaki as single events." What really is amazing is what it took for the Japanese to finally say enough is enough. Read the part of the B-29 bombings in the link. You never hear about these bombings but yet were way more devastating as far as casualties. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bombing_of_Tokyo Edit: If i remember correctly the US had a list of cities in Japan in order by population and just went right down the list.
  5. I would say your half right on this one. -It was our military thay feared and also the distance. To invade the west coast they would have to deal with the Navy in Hawaii first. Even if they did sneek past by the time they got close to the coast they would have the navy up there ass and a return trip back to Japan wouldnt be an option. -Now as far as invading the US mainland, it was not high on the list of importance. Them holding/overtaking S.E. Asia and the Pacific islands was there plan. Hence attacking Pearl Harbor. Our Navy being the only thing that could stop them is the main reason of there sneak attack. Cripple our main fleet and they could have there way with that part of the world. -Nuclear bomb, not a factor -"Gun behind every blade of grass" probaly not so much. Even though they said it im sure the reasons above were the deciding factors. Side note: The US killed more people fire bombing Japan than both nuclear bombs combined.
  6. mello dude is great to work with. Knows how to draw a print and leaves no guess work! It was also nice to do something motorcycle related and get out from behind the computer and on a mill. Now i just need to finish some of my projects that have been sitting around that need machine work.
  7. I would say the only downside is if you don't have access to a bead blaster. Fortunately I have that covered where I work. Everything else us relatively cheap to get started.
  8. Do it yourself except the frame. I do all my own parts. Anything over the size of a rim i cannot do. IR heat lamps cost too much and i dont want to build an oven in the garage. After you get a powder coat set up you will have all kinds of things you want PC'ed.
  9. The weather man said peak time was around 2am tonight with an average of one per minute. I believe he said look toward Orion constillation.
  10. I get the Inked earbuds at Marshall's for like 8 bucks all the time. It takes precisely 3 trips thru the washer and dryer to kill them.
  11. While im on the subject of fast food. Why is it that it takes me 3-4 months to get a hankering for some TacoBell but only 2 hours to remember why i dont eat there anymore. Its a viscous cycle: Step 1: Get a #6 with steak and no pico de whatever the fuck that shit is. Step 2: Slam it down your pie hole Step 3: Onset of massive cramps Step 4: Destroy the commode in a cold sweat Step 5: Swear off TacoBell. Never to be eaten again! Step 6: Let 3-4 months go by Step 7: See step 1
  12. The Mcdonald's McRib.......... Your a disgusting motherfucker but yet you taste so good.
  13. I currently use NX(UNIGRAPHICS) for my CAD/CAM needs. Solidworks on occasion and Catia even less. We also have SolutionWare but that is mainly used for Mazatrol progamming transfer and conversion to EIA or Mazak controller types. Its nice being able to come up with an idea, design it, program it and walk down stairs and machine it. The company i work for is really cool about it. All aluminum drops can be had at scrap prices. For the most part steel is free if you ask. Also they dont mind if you use there machines for your own work if its on your own time. You used to be able to get any coatings done for free thru our vendors. Laser, hard chrome, anodize and everything else just by putting it on the skid with the rest of the parts that were going out. Most vendors have since priced things by part number instead of by the lot. Now if you want it done its full price.
  14. My Gamo will lay waste to all intown sized pests. Squirrels have been taking a beating lately. Muwah ha ha ha ha.
  15. I basically live in the same thing. Except everything is steel, interior and exterior. My house is on the National Register of Historical Places along with the other Hobart Welded Steel House Co. homes. One of the pictured homes in the Wiki link is mine. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hobart_Welded_Steel_House_Company_and_its_works
