After looking at the pic in the link i remeasured my fork tubes. Its 50 thru the top triple tree and 51.5 thru the bottom triple tree. If that helps yo out any more.

My 05 750 has 50mm fork tubes. Is the gap there when the clamp around the tube is tight?

if you have a decent measuring tape you eye ball 3mm to check if its 47 or 50mm. 3mm is about an 1/8 inch. 3mm = .1181 1/8 =.125. other than that i check when i get home.

I may just try to pick one up on ebay on the cheap. Do a little trial and error on that.

Has anyone ever cut down a Micron pipe. I have been thinking about cutting it down but dont know how they come apart. I dont want to just saw it off and hope i can figure it out and then be fuked.

If you want some sort of inexpensive dog get a mut. Alot of purebred dogs have problems like hip and joint problems from bad breeding which equals more visits to the vet. I have a golden and in the first year i spent a fair amount of cash at the vet figuring out why he kept getting rashes and would puke all the time. Turned out he's allergic to beef protien. Other than that he's an excellent dog except for the dog hair!

I may have some parts for your buddy if he's interested. I have a frame (NO TITLE) with the rear wheel and swingarm, seat, gas tank, front forks w/brake caliper. I think is a 78' but will have to check when i get off work. Also have the head light, and gauge cluster.All of which he can have for the low low price of FREE! I also have a 78' DOHC 750 motor, turn signals and rear tail light. These items i would have to get some sort of monetary compensation for to help fund my other bike project. I have a 1972 Honda CL450 with a 76' 750 SOHC engine that he could look at if it would help. Let me know if your interested.

Would you like a camera mount like this one http://www.ohio-riders.com/album.php?albumid=683 ? The one pictured needs tweaked but that has been taken care of. It fits 04-05 GSXR 600-750's. Maybe 1000's but i havent checked. If you have something different i would have to see your bike and take a few measurements. It is made out of 1/4" aluminum plate and i scribed SUZUKI GSX-R in mine but i could put whatever you like on it. It would have a machined finish on one side. I think $40 bucks sounds pretty reasonable. If you want more than one each additional one of the same style is $30. I have been a machinist for 10yrs and work is pretty slow right now and im just trying to suppliment my income.At the same time i could save someone else a few bucks! If you are a fan of all bikes then by all means go. The first time i went the whole place was filled with bikes. The parking lot and the whole grassy area was packed. There had to be atleast 700 bikes or more. It's definatly 95% H-D's but i didnt have a problem out of any of them. You will see some really nice bikes. It seemed the later it got more sportbikes rolled in. One thing i saw that was impressive was a big ass full dresser do a rolling burnout all the way across the parking lot! The second time i went there wasnt to many people there and i just felt out of place so i just left.

I started to watch but then quickly changed the channel. I dont think their will ever be any serious change in the health care system. You have the Republican nay sayers and Democrat "Blue Dogs". Congressmen on both sides take campain contributions from Health industry lobbyiest. And with that reason alone the Dems will never get the vote. At this point i think the Republicans will try to cock block any Obama idea good or bad. And when the roles eventually reverse and in time they will the dems. will try the same cockblock game but will fail because they pussyfoot around everything.
