The best insurance is available to you at very little cost or maybe even none at all. All you have to do is join the military. In all seriousnes, I couldnt imagine not having Tri Care. All other insurances I have had suck and are way too expensive. It looks as though without spending over 300 a month you cant find anything that is worth a shit. Get a health savings account if you belong to a credit union and save where you can as well. All tax deductable.

I am thinking about selling my wifes ride. We are having another baby and she wants to spend more of my money and graduate to something larger with 3rd row seating. For those who dont know, before I got put on active duty orders I worked at a local Ford dealership where I bought this from a guy I worked with. This was always well maintained with motorcraft parts. Details: 114k miles XLT model 5.0 V8 All Wheel Drive 31" BFG All Terrains Rear Air shocks Flowmaster exhaust Fully rebuilt front end including new ball joints within last 10k miles Oil changed at every 3k Newer motorcraft battery New waterpump New fuel pump New plugs and wires The bad: Since I went on active duty I have not been able to get back to work to fix a few things I was planning on taking care of. The check engine light is on, I ran the codes and it needs a new o2 sensor which I have, I just have not had the time to put in yet. I think some of it just has to deal with the fact that the cats were drilled out and it isnt reading right. Needs new rear pads, I can throw some motorcraft pads in but I just have not had time to replace them. Water pump was replaced right before I bought it and the gasket is leaking a bit. Needs to be resealed. Air bag light is on, there is a TSB on this and it there is a easy fix, I just have not had time. The worse part is that there is some rust that is building up on the pass fender. Other than the rust this thing runs great and has never let me down. Yeah, even if it wasnt 100% identical would be fine with me as long as the basic design and pattern is there. The only thing I would really like is the two cushions that have embroidery on them that say X-Star. I dont have all the interior pics right now but I will see what I can take soon. Are you doing interior now?

Few bugs is an understatement. It has been over a year since I added a part to my ski and it still isnt right. the time and effort in tuning these things are way worse than any car. This year the charger and the injectors are coming off and I am looking at a new charger/injector combo, as well as strongly considering stepping up to a race ECU to spin the motor to 8600rpm. If I pull the trigger on the charger setup I will be hoping for 84-85. With money going out this summer for a house, boat, a car, ski, and a huge build on the truck, as well as a baby on the way I am just waiting for my wife put the foot down before I buy a 3k charger setup. BTW I think I am buying another ski this year. For those who have been out with me know that I have two matching 3 seaters aswell, they are going up for sale this year and I am buying a new ski for Shanton to ride(he just doesnt know it yet). It is neither an Iroc or a 91-92. It just has the 91-92 front lip. the ground effects on the sides do not have the 91-92 ducts. Not that it matters either way but must just be an earlier model. I personally like the hood. That is the hood I put on my car and it is really the only hood that really can go with those body styles. It is way better than the turbo hood.

For some reason I still can't decide. It sounds like I really couldnt go wrong either way. I havent heard one thing that really sends me to think one is better than the other. I would almost rather have the evo but its just the keyboard that is keeping me from commiting. That new evo shift looks to be lacking a bit. Im in no rush to get one so I will prob just sleep on it a little longer. I feel like the evo is slightly better as far as expandability and software.

Im looking into finally upgrading to a smart phone. It is a toss between the Evo and the Samsung Epic. My last two phones have had full keyboards and I like the keyboards. I am not sold on texting or typing on a touchscreen yet. I have read online reviews of the phone but I am looking for personal experience and opinion with each phone or both. I am new to smartphones and android software so my knowlege is limited.

Does anyone know of a good interior shop to make replica covers for all the seats and pads of my Mastercraft? A lot of it was showing cracks before but the fall it really started to take a shit. I know of a place called Copy Cat that you sent all your covers to and they send you new ones back but Im just looking for other options. I dont want to spend a huge bit of money on it since I just found out I am having a baby. Im trying hard enough to keep myself convinced not to sell the boat.

Have fun trying to get extended warranty to pay for everything! BTW, I just heard from our Ford rep that the new 2011 DPF filters cost 9k to replace! Yes thats mutherfucking dollars. Ford is kicking warranty claims back for everything right now. If you dont have your truck serviced just like the manual says and you dont have documentation to prove it, guess whos stuck with the bill! Want a bad ass ford... buy a 7.3 liter or a 6.0L with egr delete. Otherwise buy a dodge. I like Duramax also but they are so expensive to upgrade. If you keep them stock they are great trucks but still a little more expensive to maintain. Shanton just make sure you come buy a truck from us so that I can let you drive my truck back home when you have to bring yours in to get fixed. Mostly so its easier for me to tell you I told you so. P.S. for any of you dirtymax boys, if you ever look to have your trans built or just rebuilt let me know. I know of a great guy who does them for very cheap. He put together my buddies with full suncoast internals that had 20+ high hp race tune truck pulls without any problems. I think he had $3,400 in the whole trans parts and labor included. Thats about half the price of an ATS.

What kind of duramax you get sam? Be very glad you didnt get the Ford! It seems like we are replacing 3 dpf's a week. The new EGR systems on the Fords are killing them. I like that the new 6.7s require muffler fluid level to be maintained and where you have to top the fluid off is easy to drip on the side of the truck which will kill the paint in a heartbeat. Sam I have a whole bunch of EFI live tunes if you want them.

Sam I have some vortec heads laying around if you wanna go cheap and put a decent intake and cam setup. Vortec heads can breath nicely if worked over well and placed with the right parts.

X2! Half of this thread is filled with people who don't know shit about diesel trucks but their friend has one and they said so and so about them.

I have been going to Indian Lake for years. If you know the lake it is not bad at all and have never tore up any boat parts. The only time I stay off the water is holiday weekends but I will go up to party. The parties are close to put in bay style every weekend there.

How often do you go? We try to hit it atleast once a week. I have a red and white X-Star that is always playing Shantons dirty rap really loud. You prob cant miss the music.
