  1. Nothing says happy Valentines day like taking the lady out ice racing!! see you guys there!
  2. Gump and Connie have said everything i was going to say. sounds like you are in the right direction, good luck in future any adventures if you decide that you are going for it!
  3. I pulled the trigger and bought one, thanks for the help Gump!
  4. I agree with the above...but to play devils advocate, there are a lot of engineers coming out of college right now that would take that job and not ask for time off during an interview. One missed weekend sucks but the long term benefits definitely out-way the one missed weekend to somewhere you have been the last couple years. flame on!
  5. First impression of this one are pretty good. I was not so convinced about the safety lock at first but after using over the weekend i have come to like that. Had some problems with my old CRKT folding up while in use.
  6. Thanks guys! hard to find people that actually want to work now a days. Had a 20 year old come in Friday and quit because its to cold for him to be outside!!

For what its worth I love my Shied and it is very accurate.
  8. I will call you this afternoon with his contact information.
  9. STAHP!!!! Shit, are you in Buffalo now? Will you be coming to Ohio before you leave?
  10. Bigger than what you need/want but just for pricing references....I purchased a new garage style hang up heater today for one of my cabinet shops that is 220,000BTU running off propane (they do propane or natural gas). Heater and all components for under $2k with installation. Heaters can be had for $600-$1,500 depending on the size. Mine is the top of the line Modine model PDP200 with stainless steel heat exchange and was $1,484 shipped directly to my shop. Congratulations on the twins!! Let me know on the drywall and we will get you taken care of bud!
  11. I heard the other day 7" of ice....If the weather holds i would be down to get the Raptor out this Saturday.
  12. This looks like a sweet trip! Hopefully i can get to the big track a couple times this year and maybe join you guys next year.
  13. Ordered, the one i have now doesn't lock open anymore. Heard they are lifetime warranty...Anyone ever sent one back?
  14. I am looking forward to this season! Got the thread a little off with some of the fun jabbing but in all seriousness get out this year and try this!! I know Todd, JB, Chris, or myself would be more than happy to have you in our pits and help in anyway that we can...Also don't let us big clowns scare you off from bringing your child to compete. If you have a boy or girl that is of age and is getting into racing then this is a great place to start. I am sure a lot of you have heard us throw the name Gavin around, a lot of you might not realize that he is 11 years old (maybe 12 now) and is whooping our butts out there. Seriously get out and try this!!
  15. lol NO NO NO!! My times will not be in the 58's...they will just be 1/2 second or so better than second place! I only have one season racing OMRL therefor i get to race in novice for another season to get the "feel" of this racing thing that you guys speak of!
  16. Don't forget about me!! Unless you were just talking about Ben chasing the Midget for 2nd place! This really is a great time and good people, If you have never been out to one of these i strongly recommend at least coming out to watch one weekend, if you have any interested in racing for fun then this is where it is at. Cheap bikes, cheap entry fees and a good class of people that are willing to help in any way they can.
  17. Please let me know when you are doing this!!
  18. Check out that Husky that is up for sale, i was very interested in it but the bike is located in Buffalo. Not as far of a drive for you and it was a great deal.
