    It was actually during the "great V10 war". The M5 released a V10 and the S8 had to follow suit. Both cars now have low displacement (4.0 & 4.4L) Turbo V8's. They get a HUGE bump in MPG, emissions, and make substantially more torque and power.

    That was the D3 S8, which was slow. The 2013 (D4) Has a wee little 4.0L V8.

    The GT3 is a road legal "track car" IMO. If you are using it for racing, as you should, the DSG is a huge advantage. Love it or hate it, DSG is better at everything, and is here to stay.

    Thanks! Those V8's sure do sound awesome. Really can't wait for the weather to clear up finally. PS: The OVR SCCA's first Autocross is March30 @ NTR, hope to see you there. CR has a 1/4 Drag day @ NTR on April 27th!
